That’s the iPad I’m getting on Christmas! But in gold colour, finally having an actual iPad instead of an android tablet reason why because it was really slow and laggy the 2 tablets I had was a Lenovo tablet and a bush tablet if you want to search it up.

I use it mostly for taking notes in school and studying and it for the most part has replaced all my note-taking on actual paper. However, the screen is not as bright as I'd like. The lights in my class are super bright and I have to adjust my angles often just to see what I'm reading/writing on the screen. It could be my eyes, but I think a brighter screen would still help. Also there is no mute switch. This might not be an issue for most people but for me, this being my first ipad and being an iphone user, I'm so used to having it there. Everyone can hear when I'm typing with it in the library (probably just me overthinking) but I'm sure I can adjust that in the settings. Just kinda inconvenient. Other than that, I really enjoy it overall

So if I'm a consumer and saw the new tablet was bigger, has a new feature I can utilize more than the other and it was the same price as the sixth gen I'm buying the latest and greatest. And let's not forget sales happen frequently with that particular ipad

I know the market as a whole from years of studying and what your failing to understand with consumers is if it looks different to them it's new to them. So back to what I said, more consumers are going to use the smart connector over the apple pencil because the pencil while useful is more for artist. Price may be a factor but considering this is a tablet that goes on sale.for a reasonable price people will but this tablet over the 6th gen and from a business standpoint the opportunity cost vs tradeoff for consumers purchase decision the more features given on the new tablet will convince them to spend the 329 vs 249 for the 6th gen. I'm not discreding the 6th gen tablet it's great but if were talking about value and sales the market showed it doesn't need expensive products to get the job done you need a compromise. While the air is better more people look at the budget and see a better value for less price and just by look if it looks similar to the air it'll go to their mind as a compromise.

I have an iPad mini 3, it won’t update anymore, deleted all my apps and I can’t get it back without updating to iOS 13 so I bought the 7th Generation iPad on HSN that comes with a case, 5 free apps, headphones, a stylus, Bluetooth keyboard, stand, and screen protector for $479. Totally worth it.
I deeply appreciate your reviews, which aren’t elitist AF. $329 is not small change for MOST people. We can get so caught up with FOMO & it’s actually kinda gross. All we’re doing is harming ourselves & making a handful of folks super wealthy. Because of you, I went with the XR, from the 5S, & I have zero regrets. It’s bloody marvelous! I have a screen protector on my iPad screen, currently, & I never use it outdoors. What am I suppose to worry about? Reflection? Is it worse than the first gen iPad Air??? Indoors? Hard pass, my 2018 iPad works just fine, maybe if they removed the bezels, added USB type C (something on alot of budget hardware) and upgraded the CPU i'd really get one. iPad OS on my 2018 model is amazing.

Completely impossible, the design of the iPad Pro and this iPad is really different. Plus, the price would be higher. And how would you pair it? It only has the smart connector. The Apple Pencil 2 is made for the latest iPad Pro only. This iPad is pretty cheap because it does not have all the fancy things, that's the point of it.
The 10.2 iPad should do the job just fine. Technically the best one would be the 12.9 iPad Pro because it has the best speakers, and biggest screen, but it also starts at $999 compared to the $329 iPad.
Depends. iPad Mini is a different experience. If you just want a small tablet go for that. But the iPad can be used more as a laptop alternative thanks to the bigger display, and keyboard attachment. If I had to pick one, I’d go with the iPad personally.

To me latest and greatest doesn't matter The IOS and ram matters I prefer something like A9 and 2 ram or A10 and 2 ram (like iPad 2019) and so on. 3 ram even better

It's going to be all mine and is going to replace the family ipad 4 and replace my phone because its a samsung thats really bad and slow. Apple should stop selling devices with thick bezels. It's not that expensive to make devices with small or minimal bezels. It's almost 2020 for crying out loud.

Procreate runs well on lower end devices. Only difference between pro and lower end iPads is layer count. For a student I think an entry level IPad is great for sketching and artwork, and you get enough layers if you work screen size.
I'm a graphic design student and I have the iPad 6th generation. I use Procreate and Vectornator all the time. They work great! So I expect this iPad to work just as fine since it has the same specs.

Procreate runs well on lower end devices. Only difference between pro and lower end iPads is layer count. For a student I think an entry level IPad is great for sketching and artwork, and you get enough layers if you work screen size.
I'm a graphic design student and I have the iPad 6th generation. I use Procreate and Vectornator all the time. They work great! So I expect this iPad to work just as fine since it has the same specs.
