HOW TO APPLY DITHIOPYR 40 WSB

In this video, I will show you how to apply dithiopyr 40 WSB. This product is suppose to be appied via a big rig sprayer but there is a way to apply it on a small scale which involves some easy calculations. It is important to be safe while doing this, wearing appropriate PPE and a mask is necessary. Dithiopyr 40 wsb comes in a water soluable bag that is not meant to be opened which is why you need to wear a mask. You can use dimension 2EW herbicide which already comes premixed but will cost you over $150.

Max is about 1.38 oz per 1000 per year, but in NY its a bit lower.

For NY state, If I just have a hand pump sprayer, would I use .17 oz per gallon

It depends if 1 gallon can cover 1000sqft. If not, you will have to adjust your walking speed.

Was this the dithiopyr that comes in 5 oz. packets? (4 to a package) If so, have you just opened up the individual packets and put them in the larger bag to scoop from? Thanks.

Yes thats the same package. I just scooped from the bag they were in. Some of the bags came broken and were scattered in the bigger package they were shipped in.. Keep in mind this is an unofficial way to scale down the amount you need. Make sure you wear you mask.

How much water u mix per packet?..Indiana..lol

You need to calibrate your sprayer to determine how much water you spray over 1000sqft, then you would know how much to mix.
