Considering how popular Matt's Off Road Recovery is, they should license Matt's "Banana" recovery vehicle, a Jeep XJ, and sell it. I am sure many people would buy them, considering how popular Matt's RUclips channel is!!

I'm not a big fan of crwalers but these do look really cool and seem to be very capable for their size.
Just got my first SCX24 for Christmas. It's the Deadbolt, and it was on sale for $99 from Horizon. A friend of mine has one, so we added some weights to them and went to the closest track we could find. Found out running the track was not easy, but it was fun. It's cool, they're fun, there are a ton of upgrades available for them, and you can spend as much or as little as you want. Now my wife wants one lol.
Those mini crawlers do look really cute that I would like the idea if they do have a Jurassic Park.

I have quite a collection of small crawlers mine are 1/18 though but yeah very addictive that one there you showed looked pretty cool i might have to look into that one thank you for posting guys and hope your new year will be filled with peace and prosperity cheers

You should look into the different skins that are fit into the Jeeps!
I stopped by a dealership and asked touch up paint for another body I got.. similar to this color. I'll wait, and might get the 'Deadbolt' green one - have a new/old one and the new upgrade one and I'll still have both colors.
Fcx24 and trx4m are far better than the scx24 in my experience. But plenty of people seem to like these so what do i know? Great video!

Buy a can of spray paint, paint it with your kids and put on stickers,makes it more fun to customize it together! Twice the learning and fun!

I have a concern regarding version 1, version 2 and version 3, which was the last one they released, each of them has different electronics. Version 1 The touch is not as progressive but the receiver compensates for it, especially by having a second channel where without need to change control or other components can be converted to a brushless motor, easily and economically, then version two brings different electronics where the feel is better compared to accelerating the vehicle is more progressive but lacks channel 2 if you want to modify The electronics require changing all the components which greatly limits it. The control is digital, particularly I don't know how accurate or convenient it is. My main question is related to the latest version 3, which again changes the electronics to a spectrum and changes the control. Can you please tell me if this electronic also has channel 2 as well as version 1? Can this version number 3 also install a brushless motor on channel 2 without having to change the remote control and other electronic electronics? I am undecided between version 1 and version number 3, the last one that Axial released in its SCX 24 versions. Thank you very much for your suggestions.
A brushless motor for a 1/24 at a budget price? Please tell me where to buy one because those that I've found are from $99 to $150?
Go grab any fms 1/18 or 1/24 crawler for the same price and get MUCH better performance for the money.

I’ve got 4 SCX24s, they are fun to tinker with. Also why did you not show us under the hood? Would have been nice to see close ups of the changes.
We had a couple quick shots side by side. Honestly not a huge difference. Small upgrades to an already proven little RC! 👍💯😎⚓️

Buy any FMS fcx24 and it will be 10x more fun that this scx24. Not to mention the Redcat Ascent 18 which you'll get $250 of value from a $120 crawler. Or any one of the Traxxas micro crawlers. DO NOT BUY AN SCX24. They're too old and haven't changed in 5 years. Axial/Horizon Hobby should be ashamed of themselves.

The axial flatbed scx24 trailer hooks up to any scx24 which is sweet, just picked up a couple of them last week

Only thing that sucks is as soon as you put on wheels and tires on stock shocks is rubs hard, when you put on even 42mm shocks with softest spring the trailer sits high but I counter with heavier wheels infront of the scx on the trailer and put stocks back on the scx. Just gotta play around with it

RUclips is semi broken, yes. When we were making “shorts” content we grew Subscribers quickly but they only wanted to watch short videos. Really dumb honestly. Not sure of a solution to this problem, but I can tell you that short format content (the way most people do it, including us at times) is not good for anyone. Driving shorter attention spans and killing longer format content, with some exceptions. 💯⚓️
Also, mini crawlers almost never bring views.

Ummm..Guys...If you are trying to show us what a rock crawler is all about. Please take it to a place where you are actually crawling the vehicle. That's what they are meant for. You barely showed the true capabilities and design purpose. You take your boats to a lake (of course), your high speed runs at a runway, but you don't put the crawler on a crawling course (?). It would have taken you 10 min to build one.
You can do better than this. You usually do.

Yes the SCX 24 IS a hobby grade mini crawler. Axial only makes hobby grade RCs. So don't let the size fool you. It's completely upgradable and modifiable with tons of support. When you want to mod it. It's pretty inexpensive.
It isn't designed to be fast because it's a rock crawler. It's geared low & is diff locked because that's it's purpose.
Too bad they didn't actually show us what it's designed to do by testing it on a rock pile. Had they done that. You might have a better appreciation for what this little rig is designed to really do.
Mine is a 1st gen that has been HIGHLY modified. It still blows me away with what it will climb and crawl over. They're a ton of fun and don't take up any room to store when you're not playing. Batteries are cheap (13-25$ @ 430mah). My most expensive piece of kit is my battery charger. You will want to replace the one that comes with the RTR combo as soon as possible.
