Thank you for this video. Is it just me, or does Battlefront 2015 indeed have better graphics than BF II 2017? One thing is clear, Battlefront 2 never came close to the atmosphere of its predecessor. It is these little details that made the first game so immersive. It truly felt like Star Wars. The photogrammetry, they used when scanning the locations just payed off. Battlefront 2's linear map design because of Galactic Assault being the main game mode (and most Capital Supremacy maps being ported over and just expanded from Galctic Assault), the maps were built for the game mode and not the other way 'round. It is so obvious that the game modes of Battlefront 2015 were built into the maps, that were the scans of the actual locations, were the original trilogy had been filmed annd you can "feel" that.
Probably because sw bf 2015 had like 7 years of development while sw bf2 was prob made when death star or rogue one dlc came out, so lot less development time, and sw bf2 also had to do a lot more from clones to first order.
@@mysteryguy9386 I don't think, that they had that much time for the first game. EA acquired the Star Wars license in 2013, so the game had roughly two to three years of development time. That makes its attention to detail even more incredible. And that short development time was the reason for the limited amount of content at the launch of the game, but the DLCs were great additions to the game post its launch.
As much as battlefront 2 was a dope game, I think we’d all be remiss to not acknowledge the level of detail dice put into BF1 where how well your team did impacted a background battle outside the map
as beautiful and badass as all of it is, i cant help but feel sad and horrified knowing theres thousands and thousands of people in each ship that crashes. Each falling titanic ship has to have hundreds of people in it still alive, and aware of their imminent doom as the ship crashes towards the planet they are at.
Still better than the ones in space, least crashing on the planet gives you A chance to survive, not a very good one, but you aren’t exposed to hard vacuum like you would in space
Never played battlefront, unfortunately... but hell, they could literally make a game about you going from one far point on a planet to join the battle, and as you go, from far away you see how the battle goes. This is beautiful
to those wondering why ships crash rather than explode when in atmo it's because the repulsorlifts that keep the ship in the air have failed long before the reactor or hull did. in proper space combat it won't matter too much if your repulsorlifts fail unless you're within a planets gravitational pull

Wait what ? I remember when the super star destroyed crashed on Jakku the entire playable battlefield would be engulfed by a sand storm. U could of even seen the tsunami wave of sand coming towards u
