no but tell me why her vocals have actually gotten SO MUCH BETTER since her first album !? i did not even know that was possible but WOW HELLO ???? it’s different idk it just is. one of my friends told me he sees it too.
You never thought a singer could improve their voice? Are you dumb? Lol
Why did you say no at the beginning of this? Was this a response to someone? Just curious, still learning English
@@ccwwbb no means okay in that sense kinda. it’s just a way we younger people start sentences lol
@@christiangallimore6597 hmm got ya- don’t you think though that may confuse some people, foreigners who are learning English since it’s not grammatically correct
@@ccwwbb thats not our responsibility if u get confused. its your responsibility to learn. Most slang we use is not "gramatically correct"
She’s breaking the internet again I love her and the song
I love you Olivia and I'm a big fan but it really makes me wonder whenever I hear fans say shes breaking the internet, how?
Sameeee
@@13rix29 it means she is braking records with her song & its being talked about everywhere on the internet
Yes
@@13rix29 she’s not, her stans just are a bit …. confused
Olivia actually has live performances of her song “favorite crime” where she’s hit over 20 phrased E5s!!!
You're right! I remember them being lighter sounding wheras vampire feels more powerful but I will love checking between the two a bit!
wait over 20 E5s in one song??? Or 20 total? 😆
@@tristanparedes over 20 E5s in a single performance of the song!
can you link or tell me the title of the video? i wanna see thats wild
@@tristanparedes the video is titled Olivia Rodrigo belting out 24 phrased E5s
that “as you sunk your teeth into me, OOOHWHOOOAAAA” is SO satisfying omfg, i’m so glad she went for the “OOHWHOOOA” instead of stopping at the lyrics. that’s why i love her, she always goes for the hard note/part that most artists avoid
SAMEEEEE that’s the part i’m obsessed with
I love the concept with the stage, I interpret it as she is used for entertainment, when she's in pain people just watch. The fact they chase her highlights the hate following her.
Some people dont like the vedio or maybe they dont understand the concept.
now it makes sense i really didnt get it but i love the song. your theory makes sense
and when she got hurt the police "chased" her instead of helping her like she is the perpetrator and it's her fault why she got hurt in the relationship (or in general)
she doesn’t get hate she encourages hate on other people like sabrina
@@someperson209she never encouraged hate, you just made that up
she is so overlooked. her vocal talent along with songwriting is so rare these days. not only can you feel the lyrics when she sings but also through the vocals. no one beats olivia!
overlooked? are you serious.. she writes and sings the same song over and over again.. every song sounds the same and is about the same thing..
@@noobmasters6913 no one gives af about your hate so just leave
@@noobmasters6913 does it really sound the same? I'm not a fan of her music but it each song does sound unique it it's own way
@noobmasters6913 you're the reason why we are valid in saying she's "overlooked"..because your clearly deaf ears cannot differentiate between mediocre & greatness
is she rlly overlooked i mean she's one of the biggest artists rn
Olivia Rodrigo will never get old and i personally think this is the best she’s sounded in any studio recording, and her vocal range have expanded SO much
are you saying Olivia Rodrigo is a vampire & therefore will never show signs of aging?
bro im not trynna sound mean but (my opinion) sour has gotten old and i dont think a lot of my friends who liked it likes it anymore, including me (i used to literally stan olivia like i was her biggest fan). vampire sounds rlly good but lets see i mean vampires dont age lmfao
yeah… she’s improved!
@@jaysontatum01 yes
@@nyx4093 Well you’re certainly in the minority
She’s gotten even BETTER than before, she’s amazing and her vocals are so good, I also love how this songs feels like I could relate in like 300 different ways unlike her other songs
I always admire her vocal technique 😭 especially on belting
same here, I've worked with vocal coaches before (I'm a singer) and her technique is really amazing as well as her vocals, she's really talented!
her vocal ability is so crazy good she stands out so much from the new singers she’s gonna be a legend
Yeah! Really hoping she will!
yeah I have a feeling she'll be one of those big artists that were a big part of the revolution of this era or something like Avril Lavigne was such a pop rock icon in the 2000s (still is), and Taylor Swift is still taking the crown in today's generation of music, I'm hoping Olivia becomes big big like them!
@@florence.066 oh I see what you mean like adele, bruno mars, sam smith, katy perry and ed sheeran. I always have thought who was gonna be those ppl on this generation. I guess yeah olivia is one of them.
@@astherine yeah that's what I meant! I think Olivia will be part of it :)
The reaction everyone was waiting for!! The song is soooo good!!
It's interesting that you mentioned the eighties, because for me it felt more 90s, but after all both decades are kinda similar, the 90s take a lot of inspiration from the 80s, it's like a continuation melt with an evolution. (And it's totally what this song feels comparing to the whole SOUR album).
I totally agree about her maturity, her voice, the lyrics, and even the music video... We're really entering in a new era for her and I'm so excited! I also like that she didn't change completely what makes her, her. Like the music, the way it begins very slowly, it's always very light to then go hard on the chorus.
For the lyrics, I wouldn't say it feels less personal than SOUR, but more metaphorical, and if the album has the same vibe, I think it can be better than SOUR!
I think you put that way better than me! Yeah it's more metaphorical for sure
yess i think it’s still v much personal in that it’s a reflection of her own life (prolly) but i’d say it’s def less intimate compared to sour songs 😅
I thought it felt more personal actually. hmm interesting
The art of storytelling. Olivia never disappoints
There’s like the demo version, it’s just her and the piano and her voice sound so clear, I think u can find it like vampire first demo.
thanks!!!
There’s also a live version she sang with just the piano and it’s amazing.
@@knight6 yes!!
@@luzdaniela2832I think that live version might be my favorite Vampire version so far, though the album version’s uptempo is nice if I’m in mood to dance.
Olivia actually did hit a high e5 in 'good 4 u' at "like a damn sociopath"
Ohh yah
this is definitely giving strong ‘as the world caves in’ vibes and omg the power her voice has!
she’s definitely going to be as big and as popular consistently as Taylor Swift imo. Not to compare them at all they’re great in their own ways. Olivia seems like she will be here for the long haul and I love her for it 💜🩶 Excited to see where her career goes
she mirrors a lot to taylor in a good way, i’m really rooting for her. she seems to be playing her place in the music industry very smartly.
yeah no

The lyrics of the song have so much meaning and substance, it’s deep in a really good way. It a lead component to the song and her artistry by far
Yess finally, she did amazing personally this is one of her better songs
her best one to me!
@@tristanparedessame
Fr, I love this song
yess i was just waiting for your reaction! i’m just utterly obsessed with this song. her vocals sound so much stronger, though they were from the beginning. olivia is actually may be taking over the industry, and i’m hereee for it.
When she was younger she was on this kid version of American idol and she also sang high notes! This song is so good, love love love her!!❤
I was scared too that I won't like the new song but nah I was so wrong. She never disappoints. I really loved this song
Olivia uploaded a live piano version a day or two ago! We need a reaction ASAP! Lol sorry for the agression
1:01 all the people wondering how to get legs that shiny and super smoooth, babyoil and vitamin e oil, burrs bees has a combo of this that is like a candied lemon scent to 🤌🏻
Olivia did a live performance of Vampire. It is just her and the piano. I think you will like it,
I love seeing you react and hear your expertise ❤️ especially on Olivia cause I’m obsessed with every single song she ever released. I just know the album will slap SO hard & I can’t wait for your reaction!
her vocal range on this song is so so effortless and INSANE
She just keeps making me love her.
I love Olivia's song soooo much! Her voice keeps getting better and better and the emotions, ugh the way you can feel every emotion through her voice! The melody reminds me of "the joke" by brandi carlile sometimes
the blood SUCKER line from the first chorus sounds so good
I’ve been listening to this so often and I am getting full body chills every time
She is the definition of a rising and improving artist. I always wonder if she writes her own songs, because they’re just amazing. They’re all hits. And she is only like 2 years into her career.
Her vocals sound so good in this song. Like, I went wow several times while listening to this.
The diy style you mention is because shes been working with the same director which is Petra collins and this is basically her style of directing, photography and fashion. Very edgy homemade but really cool
I’m holding out hope that she’s spent the last couple years improving her live vocals so she can really hold her own with the best of the touring queens.
Even if Olivia isn’t the best singer in the world that shouldn’t invalidate her insane talent. I hate that people try to take that away from artists. I wish the best for her and I’m proud of her! PS you did totally meet Olivia! It def counts haha! So cool.
The production and arrangement of her songs are so great
I actually think she’s an amazing singer lol. Way more range than most of the other pop artists today
Every fan of hers knows tht she is a great singer miserable people just try and push the can’t sing narrative bc her success makes them uncomfortable
i just dont like her because every song she writes is the same.. they sound the same and are about the exact same thing.. a bnoy she dated and how he treated her badly.. thats EVERY ONE of her songs... she cant write a song that isint sad and depressing.. like why now a slow love song.. or a fast love song.. or anything esle besides slow songs about heartbreak... because one yopu hear one of her songs youve heard them all.. they are all the same
@@noobmasters6913 this song isn’t even about a breakup wdym
The live version is just amazing
I totally agree about the piano at the beginning. Like it's definitely giving classic 90's piano ballad vibes. Like, (Everything I do) I Do It For You (Bryan Adams), I'll Stand By You (Pretenders), or Elton John.
Yes, even sounds like Radiohead!
Angels Like You by Miley Cyrus
It reminds me of Dangerous by Madison Beer
Idk why I was hearing, a re-arranged version of the intro of 'imagine' by John Lennon in the beginning.
I’m glad I was finally able to listen to the full thing! She has a very smoky tone that I really enjoy. It’s so much different than what I had though it would be. It was much better than the snippets we were showed.
I’ve been listening to a lot of alternative artists lately - my favorite being Medium Build (real name is Nick Carpenter). Great artist who writes honest music and sings with presence. I highly recommend you check out his live performance of I Never Learned to Dance.
SHE JUST POSTED A LIVE VERSION OF THIS SONG
Love how you connected best coast with this! I was trying to see where I kinda heard the same vibe too 🤌
She is so so damn good, wtf😭
Reminds me of "Come back home" by Sofia Carson. I love this song. Her singing ability is impeccable and also the pacing of the song! The way it starts very slow and how it switches to rapid pace towards the end.
Ew, don't compare her to Sofia's squeaky, stiff jaw ad-libs 💀
it reminded me a lot of selfish by madison beer
This song is so amazing, I’m learning how to sing and play the piano and I’m so jealous of her ( in a good way) that she is my same age and so talented😭 I love Olivia’s voice! Has a lot of cry
Her voice has improved so much. This song is not what expected but I am here for it.
Olivia's intro reminds me of the Beatles. Nothing specific, but just a vibe. Not sure if that's what you mean by "it sounds familiar". I wrote this in Olivia's official video: she cures my nostalgia. Whether it's 60s, 90s, 00s, Olivia is great at capturing whatever you want to call it. She's just great.
Oh my god I thought I was alone thinking this!! Especially jealousy, jealousy - the instrumental definitely has some Beatles vibes!
There’s a live version posted now!!! I’m patiently waiting for you to make a video ☺️
2:39 i feel you said it perfectly, the fame fucker part feels like she is relieved by the end after the grief and buildup from the start of the song. This song is a banger
I like that the video starts with traditional Vampire cliches, in the visuals, but upends that to make it clear it's about Vampires of an entirely different type.
wait the way queen cat never changes facial expression, isn't she shook about Olivia's vocals ?? 😻
I love this song!! It kinda reminds me of that song “Creep”… I had the same feeling of similarity that you did at the begining and I think it’s bc of this song 😅
6:08 MY FAVORITE PART I thought I wasn’t gonna like her new song but it’s so good omg
YAY IM SO HAPPY UR REACTING TO THIS
personally i wasn’t a fan of sour however i absolutely love the way she sounded in this song and the direction she took, she’s done amazing !!!
I agree
HER NEW ALBUM COMES OUT A DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I’m so excited!!!!!
she just uplaoded a livve piano version!!!!
I swear it's impossible for her not to make a hit! Adore her songs ❤️
the beginning sounds like the beginning of the Scala & Kolacny Brothers cover of Creep! first thing I thought of when I heard Vampire
YUPPP WE WAS WAITINGGG
She has a version out and it is live 🔥🔥
YES FINALLY THANK YOU SM
The harmonies of how do you lie x3 remind me of Julia Michaels on the song she did with Niall Horan called “What a Time” when she says “what a lie” x3. I also thought the setting in the beginning of the video & her dress reminded me of a The Vampire Diaries dvd cover/poster. I’d be curious to know if she was referencing TVD which would be fitting considering the song is called “Vampire”. I loved this song ❤ it shocked me a little initially, but in a good way!
She has a live piano version for this song out know. You have to react to that, please.
i forgot your name for a sec bc i haven’t been on youtube in a while and i was very happy to see that vocal coach reacts brought me exactly who i was looking for😭 i 100000% love and missed ur vids🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I try so hard to fight being an Olivia Rodrigo fan but I literally cannot resist her music
She just posted herself singing it live
I was also afraid the song would be mediocre because I'm friends with so many livies lol. the first thing I noticed was how much her vocals have grown & that alone had my jaw on the ground on first listen. now that I've had a couple days to digest the whole thing, the writing & production is just as good as ever. I'm so excited for GUTS now, Olivia knows how to pick a lead single 😂.
Olivia is super talented and unique in a sea of pop.
I thought the exact some thing about her legs and your first comment...her legs were shinninggggg!
THE WAY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THISSSSS
I’ve been waiting for this one!!!
i love the cut off when he played the traitor son in the beginning, never laughed so hard in my life
I love how queen cat never gets left behind
Really good, in my opinion it topped driver’s license!!
6:30 those backing vocals are fucking crazy
Her vocals have gotten even better since Sour amazingly enough
my new favorite song and i already know it by heart!! been streaming it more than 20 times this week
finally you uploaded your reaction about vampire. Thank you very much, I'm really excited🔥🔥
She’s the best❤❤❤
THANK YOU FOR THISSSSSSSSS
A new vampire live performance by Olivia rodrigo is out now ( 😮 ) reacts to this
Letsss goooo!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Liv's songs hits different I love it ❤❤❤
INTRO SOUNDS LIKE john lennon ‘imagine’ YESSIIR
0:32 omg is it "Imagine" by John Lennon I was thinking the same thing but idk if it's that similar
Weirdly getting happier than ever vibes from this song the way it builds
Olivia is phenomenal!
You know I see a lot of other names listed but I think she sounds just like Olivia Rodrigo ! Imagine that...🥰
The piano version is pretty awesome
It's actually sound similar to Conan Gray's songs. That would make sense since they have the same producer😅
My mom did a reaction to this said the same thing as you but she couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that nobody helped her after the chandelier fell on her
Tristan you really give honest from the heart critical reactions which is hard to find on the internet nowadays! I love your channel plus you're so hilarious! Keep em reactions coming man!💪❤️
for me this is her best song
Shes just so fucking good thats all there is too it!❤
The beginning reminds me of selfish by madison beer, maybe thats what you meant! Also, the sound leading into the bridge reminds me of taylors are you ready for it
OMG IVE WAITED FOR THIS AAA
omg I love the reference to best coast that’s such a great comparison! I couldn’t put my finger on it but you nailed it!
by far her best vocal performance nd imo her best song, she went insane
it’s the same chords as creep by Radiohead
i can’t believe she managed to pull off such a different song with the same chords
I love both songs ♥
Never mind the range, notes, etc. She wrote a hit, she sings a hit and nothing is going to change that.
Tristan hope youve been well! You're looking great! 👌
such a good song
