    This is one of the most classic match-ups ever. Two of my favorite artists of all time teaming up together. Billy brings the New York cool. And Bruce stands for New Jersey attitude. It's the best ever.

    Random thoughts - I'd say Mr Long Island brings some real NY attitude (he always does).
    And - is it just me? I've replayed over and over and I'm convinced that Mrs Springsteen has a lingering glance or something - just for a second after Billy sings "baby we'll never go back". Cmon, help me out. 1:34...hmmmm

  • @amazed66
    @amazed66 14 лет назад +1

    @pgaquigz I don't think Billy knew the words and it looks a bit contrived as if he's trying to read the words off of a monitor and sing as the same time, so gets a little lost until the "Tramps like us.." part where he was more familiar with it and he seemed a bit more natural.

  • @4lifeserendipity
    @4lifeserendipity 12 лет назад +4

    @rypro525 Of course he didn't know the words, he hates rehearsing ("more edge" with less rehearsing) and this was pretty spontaneous.
    Try singing Bruce song, in Bruce key/range, also in Bruce voice in perfect pitch (!!) while simultaneously playing the piano by EAR and see how you do ;.)
    Trust me, NO other talent is capable of making adsjustments like that. NO ONE else. Most under rated talent in the history of Earth.
    PS "Virginia" was intentional.

    It's weird how he's out of breath with these brief performances (This, Super Bowl etc), yet when he performs 26-30 songs at a "real" concert, he's not at all. I guess his mood is different when he's surrounded by thousands of screaming fans..
