I have a complaint and I believe it is serious. I am a senior (75) I have a young person in my life. Part of my joy. She loves Taylor Swift and I foolishly lent her my iPad for a small time. She was looking for videos on you tube about Taylor. She came to me very upset and said a lady on you tube said Violence is the answer violence is always the answer. She thought you were trying to get Taylor killed. I listened to your entire video. Two things I learned. 1. I will never let this child on you tube without my supervision. 2. You did say violence is the answer. You said it twice on the how to deal with petty girls episode. I insist you walk back the violence is always the answer comment. I don’t think if someone takes a shot at Taylor or another of the ladies you diss and says they got the info from you will be happy. In my opinion you will be liable. I insist you issue a clear statement against violence !, Thank you.
It comes down to Taylor's self-worth being tied to success. The day her self-worth isn't tied to career/money/achievements/relevance is the day she's free.
Yep! She probably has a father wound. Taylor's dad invested a lot into her career. He bought a stake in the record label that signed her. Perhaps he was giving her conditional love, based on how much money she was making him. That teaches her that her self-worth is connected to money/success. Her career and achievements have become her entire identity. It's unfortunately a trap because when does it end? It's like a hamster wheel.
If it's not tied to her success, it will be tied to her children. She will demand that her children be as successful as her or beyond, then grunt when the child actually surpasses her.

I think a lot of celebrities have a lack of gratitude and would really benefit from volunteering. They're constantly surrounded by people who are richer and more successful than they are, and it's hard for them to be fully aware of how lucky they are because of that. This is why I love being in social work. It's an automatic gratitude builder, which does so much for happiness and sense of fulfillment.
One thing I've learned from experience is... Narcissist don't do HAPPY... they do TEMPORARILY SATISFIED. With the key work temporarily. Good luck being involved with one...Run.....on wait and when they are not happy its everyone else's fault.

I think that Taylor has never thought about how she will be remembered. Because her songs are a lot about how she is wronged somehow. If she wants to leave a legacy, she needs to think about what she is putting out, because to be honest, I don't feel empowered with a lot of her songs. I am at the top 20% of my carear, with the pay and work load I always wanted, I am married to the man of my dreams that looks at ne like I hanged the moon every single day. I have the kids I always dreamed. I have the house of my dreams paid off, I have the car of my dreams, no debt, can cook from scratch, bought a little cottage at the boones at the top of the mountain with a great view. I eat bread and cake I make fresh from scratch, plant my own flowers, grow my salad at my garden... if you cannot apreciate what you accomplish you will never be happy.

For anyone not been through their mid or late 30s, let me tell you it's rough. No matter what you do time catches up with you. You can still be attractive but you are just changing and it's NOTICEABLE change... you can feel your youthful beauty slipping away. Her looks aside though it's her music and whole persona that will soon feel out of place. She is an almost mid 30s women singing songs that really resonate with 11 year olds, and while that sells tickets now, it is a problem for the future ifnshe wishes to continue in the muaic business. When I was growing up some of biggest female music stars came across as grounded mature women (think Celine Dion, Shania Twain etc) vs Taylor who seems to be stuck in a place of arrested development. I'd advise her to step back and have a family, focus on that, let that inform new ideas for music, grow as a woman, make peace with herself, and return with new music and a more mature and confident attitude.

Jezzus! I used to be a fan of hers. Pre-Red days i liked her so much. I related to her songs back then being the same age and all. I grew up, learned to not trash my exes, and not feel threatened by other women. She apparently stayed stuck in an age i look back on with mirth because i was stupid and young. I'm 27 as well. I have learned that when it comes to men, biologically and in nature, they perceive a woman's value being tied to beauty/youth/fertility. A woman's fertility decreases as she ages that's why they find a 25yo to be more attractive than a 35yo. It's how they're wired. Taylor is in her mid 30s and subconsciously knows that men would be more attracted to Sabrina than her. I agree with you that 30s/40s are still young but men have a different perception than we do.

So two things set my feelings about where I wish I was. I live in a city with a population 18,000 less than Raleigh, North Carolina (for American comparison) called Halifax Nova Scotia which has 463,416 people. I see myself in more of an LA 3,822, 234 person population (again for American comparison) or Montreal 4,342,000 person population. I feel like being a bigger personality and but physically feeling smaller (having interesting ambitions) in a larger place is easier than being a bigger personality in a smaller place and feeling out of place because of your personality and your ambitions not matching up with where you are. I have ambitions of being a couture (Couture and Haute Couture have different rules as to who can be what title you have to be in France to be considered Haute couture but you can be Couture from anywhere) tailor on a larger community standpoint which isn’t an average ambition for many in Halifax where it’s a bit more achievable in Montreal. So the feeling of being a small part of a large place with a personality that suits the size of that place vs being too big for the small place I am. And the other part of success is having people who actually want me in their lives and want me to be seen with me. I don’t have that in Halifax so I feel extremely stagnant and depressed. I’m also Autistic so going out on my own outside of daylight hours is extra unsafe because I’m too overly trusting of the environments I’m going into being perfectly safe when they would be bars mostly.

That's the core of her identity to stick it up to people who wronged her (Kim K, Scooter Braun, and numerous other bullies). The entire world was quick to cancel her when Kim K released an edited video, but no one apologized when the entire conversation was leaked and turned out Taylor was the one telling the truth. It's not exactly narcissism, but clear neurodivergent behaviour where they cannot let go of injustice (both have huge overlaps). The Scooter Braun fiasco is very complicated to get into here. The way to relate to that in real life, is when you're dealing with a passive-aggressive manager at work. No matter how much you complain or scream, even if you're 100% right, you will not be heard, since you as an employee have no power and you are not important enough to the organization. No one will ever hear you until you yourself get into a position of power. Like you've said in a couple of videos - play the long game and cry privately. That's all she is doing. Building a legacy, getting governments talking about her and planning their infrastructure so she can tour in their country, forcing the people who hate her to see her face everywhere, everyday. Sabrina and the others are just unfortunately collateral damage.
The control tactics of Taylor are insane. She doesn't do promo the way other artists do & how she did back in the day. Only certain journos have access to her, on her terms, with her rules. If they don't follow the rules or ever criticize her, they lose access to her. Due to this, we can't get honest critiques on Taylor and her music and her tactics unless it's from Shallon & a few others bold enough to speak the truth. I would hate to try & go through life trying to control everyone on Earth the way Taylor does. It's impossible & exhausting.

Yep! She probably has a father wound. Taylor's dad invested a lot into her career. He bought a stake in the record label that signed her. Perhaps he was giving her conditional love, based on how much money she was making him. That teaches her that her self-worth is connected to money/success. Her career and achievements have become her entire identity. It's unfortunately a trap because when does it end? It's like a hamster wheel.

I think a lot of celebrities have a lack of gratitude and would really benefit from volunteering. They're constantly surrounded by people who are richer and more successful than they are, and it's hard for them to be fully aware of how lucky they are because of that. This is why I love being in social work. It's an automatic gratitude builder, which does so much for happiness and sense of fulfillment.

I have the house of my dreams paid off, I have the car of my dreams, no debt, can cook from scratch, bought a little cottage at the boones at the top of the mountain with a great view. I think she will take a longer break after the eras tour and I hope she will be happy. I just saw her this weekend and it was awesome, she seemed genuinely so happy.
She will have a tricky time transitioning her 'brand' in the coming years. She is almost 35 years old, but actively presents like she is 22. For anyone not been through their mid or late 30s, let me tell you it's rough. No matter what you do time catches up with you. You can still be attractive but you are just changing and it's NOTICEABLE change... you can feel your youthful beauty slipping away. Her looks aside though it's her music and whole persona that will soon feel out of place. She is an almost mid 30s women singing songs that really resonate with 11 year olds, and while that sells tickets now, it is a problem for the future ifnshe wishes to continue in the muaic business. When I was growing up some of biggest female music stars came across as grounded mature women (think Celine Dion, Shania Twain etc) vs Taylor who seems to be stuck in a place of arrested development. I'd advise her to step back and have a family, focus on that, let that inform new ideas for music, grow as a woman, make peace with herself, and return with new music and a more mature and confident attitude.

I grew up, learned to not trash my exes, and not feel threatened by other women. She apparently stayed stuck in an age i look back on with mirth because i was stupid and young. It's like she sees her past as failures and it tortures her instead of making her grow up.

But 35 is still so young... I'm 27, I think at 25 you realize as a woman that 30s and 40s are not old. But at 25, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, that AT 25 it's when you start hearing, at least as of now, I assume it has always been like this? That women are no longer desirable at 30... I'm 27 as well. I have learned that when it comes to men, biologically and in nature, they perceive a woman's value being tied to beauty/youth/fertility. A woman's fertility decreases as she ages that's why they find a 25yo to be more attractive than a 35yo. It's how they're wired. Taylor is in her mid 30s and subconsciously knows that men would be more attracted to Sabrina than her. I agree with you that 30s/40s are still young but men have a different perception than we do.

So two things set my feelings about where I wish I was. I live in a city with a population 18,000 less than Raleigh, North Carolina (for American comparison) called Halifax Nova Scotia which has 463,416 people. I see myself in more of an LA 3,822, 234 person population (again for American comparison) or Montreal 4,342,000 person population. I feel like being a bigger personality and but physically feeling smaller (having interesting ambitions) in a larger place is easier than being a bigger personality in a smaller place and feeling out of place because of your personality and your ambitions not matching up with where you are. I have ambitions of being a couture (Couture and Haute Couture have different rules as to who can be what title you have to be in France to be considered Haute couture but you can be Couture from anywhere) tailor on a larger community standpoint which isn’t an average ambition for many in Halifax where it’s a bit more achievable in Montreal. So the feeling of being a small part of a large place with a personality that suits the size of that place vs being too big for the small place I am. And the other part of success is having people who actually want me in their lives and want me to be seen with me. I don’t have that in Halifax so I feel extremely stagnant and depressed. I’m also Autistic so going out on my own outside of daylight hours is extra unsafe because I’m too overly trusting of the environments I’m going into being perfectly safe when they would be bars mostly.

It may seem unreasonable right now as it is happening in real time. But she is very set on her goal which she mentioned in her thank you aimee song - "I built a legacy that you can't undo". That's the core of her identity to stick it up to people who wronged her (Kim K, Scooter Braun, and numerous other bullies). The entire world was quick to cancel her when Kim K released an edited video, but no one apologized when the entire conversation was leaked and turned out Taylor was the one telling the truth. It's not exactly narcissism, but clear neurodivergent behaviour where they cannot let go of injustice (both have huge overlaps). The Scooter Braun fiasco is very complicated to get into here.
The way to relate to that in real life, is when you're dealing with a passive-aggressive manager at work. No matter how much you complain or scream, even if you're 100% right, you will not be heard, since you as an employee have no power and you are not important enough to the organization. No one will ever hear you until you yourself get into a position of power. Like you've said in a couple of videos - play the long game and cry privately.
That's all she is doing. Building a legacy, getting governments talking about her and planning their infrastructure so she can tour in their country, forcing the people who hate her to see her face everywhere, everyday. Sabrina and the others are just unfortunately collateral damage.

The control tactics of Taylor are insane. She doesn't do promo the way other artists do & how she did back in the day. Only certain journos have access to her, on her terms, with her rules. If they don't follow the rules or ever criticize her, they lose access to her. Due to this, we can't get honest critiques on Taylor and her music and her tactics unless it's from Shallon & a few others bold enough to speak the truth. I would hate to try & go through life trying to control everyone on Earth the way Taylor does. It's impossible & exhausting.
The only thing I’ll say to give context about the Sabrina Skims campaign, is that I don’t think she’s dumb enough to have Taylor turn on her that easily. I feel like Taylor was like “yes get that bag” and Sabrina warned her before the campaign was released. She’s too smart to piss her off on purpose
