- Charlie Day is known for his manic acting, comedic timing, and unique voice, but as it turns out, he's much, much more than that. He's a multi-talented, empathetic, and unique presence. One who's overdue to receive his flowers.

I really liked that in the later seasons they fleshed out Charlie (the character) as a caretaker more and more, and eventually even revealed that he bankrolled the whole operation. The fact that he was instrumental in writing the show really shows what an amazing comedian he himself is.
When I saw the title I was ready throw hands but now I’m so glad more people are recognising his talent
Charlie doesn't need our trophies or our gold, because he has spider deep in his soul.
"I don't have a twitter.
I love how much they were actively opposed to adding Danny Davito, only for Danny to jump in head first and elevate the show greatly. Anyone else would have had reservations, or played it like a sitcom - which is not the acting style needed for Sunny.
My favourite thing about the Sunny pod is that while Glenn and Rob will happily make fun of each other (obviously joking) they just can't seem to stop fawning over Charlie and talking about what a genius he is. The level of love and respect they show for him is beautiful.
This was beautiful. I remember watching the episode "The Nightman Cometh," realising he really was playing everything himself--his competence immediately demanded your respect, but you're too busy laughing at his delivery to be able to comment on it with a straight face.
Seeing these guys live, especially Charlie, for the podcast was amazing. You almost forget they're real people until you see them a few feet in front of you.
Charlie is so multi-talented. If I remember correctly, Glenn and Rob have said he is the most athletic out of the three, and in the Wade Boggs episode, Charlie actually did hit the baseball out of the park at the end. Dude is an inspiration through and through.
that ending cut was beautiful
The episode Charlie and Max are trying to win that radio contest, and Max has Charlie set up at the computer to look up answers, but he can’t read or type. That’s masterpiece television.
Love to see the support to recognise actors like Charlie! The entire Sunny cast deserves their flowers and it's especially true for Glenn Howerton and Kaitlin Olson as actors! They're always listening, reacting and supporting even in the background of scenes, and adding nuances to their performances that feel so natural that we don't realize it's an acting choice.
"Sunny.." is a beautiful story of creatives who stuck to their guns, put in the work and flipped the bird to every naysayer they ever had. It warms my heart every time I think of them, and Charlie is the Chaplin of our age.
Much love to Charlie Day and the rest of the team. I'm happy they are finding the success in their art
I love this love letter to Charlie Day. Great way to bring in the new year. I only wish the best for you, the creater of this video, and for Charlie, who I'm sure is hard at work to make us laugh some more.
This video really opened my eyes to the fact it was Charlie Day actually playing those instruments in the show.
This is my favourite show. You can see their chemistry as actual real life friends in every scene and Charlie is 100% the heart of it. It is so beautiful
I hope Mr. Day sees this touching tribute. He is a genius and a scholar and this video shows proofs.
I doubt ANYONE remembers this.. but FX put out a public "contest",
