Hello ! I have a few specific questions about the new visa: 1. Regarding the submission of the documents for the visa: do they have to be in English (salary slips, letter from the workplace, etc.) ? That is, if my documents are not in English, do they need to be translated into English ? & if yes, how do I do it ? How do you translate an original salary slip into English ? 2. After receiving the visa, can I get a Thai driver's license ? & What about buying a motorcycle in Thailand on my name ? Will it be possible ? Thanks for the info !
I did not translate my documents to English and it was fine. As for your question about bike and driving licence, I can tell you I’m making a video about it already. It will come out as soon as the process is done which will be over in 1-30 days. Depending on the government process here. Video comes out asap. But yes you can get a licence and yes you can get a bike in your name
Does the visa have a start date. I.E if I put I will enter on 25th January 2025 does it show on the visa? I might arrive early in December so wondered if it's dated and might cause a problem.
The visa start date will be the day they approve the visa application. So you don’t get to choose, other than when you apply. I applied on the 1. October and got approved on the 3. October so that’s what my visa say
looks like you need to have a Financial evidence document when you apply for a visa, it says you need to earn at least ฿500,000 thb over the last 3 months from the website.
@@eilertandretrulsvikengenes9155 I think that going to Japan is more interesting for me, because of my hobbies in games and anime stuff. no, but diving looks like an interesting thought, good luck with that
You will be taxed depending on where you stay more than 180 days. if you stay in thailand more than that you become a tax resident of thailand. Unless you are norwegian such as me, where im still liable to pay tax to norway 3 years after i leave norway anyways. So for me its all the same, but different rules apply to different people
Hi Morgan, I watched your video, great information. Did you have to have a flight booked and fully paid for before the Thil government would process your DTV?

What do you do for banking and paying rent and stuff while you stay? Running into this issue myself they said no bank for DTV...
You can get a bank account if you have connections. But you can also just pay cash or wire the money

Then I believe you can visit Thailand on this visa as long you get more than that
