In today's video, we're going to recap my trades on 06/29 using the 9EMA strategy! $COIN was moving higher in the premarket due to an early crypto pump & presented a beautiful trading opportunity! $NVDA presented a clean 9EMA flag breakout that I decided to scale up and take big profits. Finally, I'll review a losing trading on $TSLA & show you why I quickly took my losses.

Thank you for the video. Hope you reply to this as I know this is an older video. In this video you only mentioned the 1 min time chart yet in another video I watched of yours with same topic of 9EMA you stated you also kept your eye on the 5 min chart. Should I be watching both 5 min and 1 min or just the 1 min for the 9EMA? To be clear I don’t want to be holding for long periods id like to scalp and be in and out without holding for too long. Hey Vincent, I just found your page and enjoy the way you deliver your info, much appreciated. I did however have a quiestion, I found your content through your video "Choosing The Correct Options Expiration Date | Real Trade Example" in which you advise to choose about 30 out in order to have breathign room with contract decay.
On this video it looks like you filmed it on or near June 29th and the contracts you're scalping expiration date is July 2nd. Do you usually swing options or do you usually scalp quick on lottos? Does the overall market tell you which one you're gonna be focusing on that day or what's up w/ that? Any advice is appreciated, thanks for sharing 👊

Hey Vince I bumped into your channel about 2 weeks ago and have been watching you in the mornings. I day trade stocks with shares but some say options are better. Can you please tell me how much capital you need to trade options, what expiration date are you looking for (I noticed the expiration day was just days away for these trades you posted and the price was rather cheap maybe because it was so close to expiration date) and last but not least and probably most important of all, many people try to keep the loss at half the amount paid, but is that even possible if one is day trading? Don't options move too fast to be able to be precise or is there some kind of latency as opposed to stocks? Isn't there slippage like with stocks? I find it tricky since one can't use stop loss orders like with stocks. Thanks for your interesting videos and for your time to answer my questions!

When entry or exit, do you do market or limit?
Vincent, when you were discussing your loss on Tesla, I immediately saw what the problem was. Look at the last bull candle before hitting chop, then look at its volume bar below. See how big that volume bar is? It's telling you that you are running into supply, or weakness. Bro, if you haven't studied volume spread analysis, please do. It will help you immensely by giving you an understanding of what is really going on with price action. Other than that, I want to say thank you for this strategy. It looks interesting and I will be back testing this. Also, it wouldn't hurt to study the volume profile and get a thorough understanding of it, as this will help you very much by giving you insight to strength of support and resistance levels. You will make a killing with options. Good luck, brother.

How do you show order history and PNL on TOS?
Thanks Vin for the video... what I do now is pause your video, pull my chart, mark previous day high and low, ND premarket high and low. And slowly move the 1 min chart and mark where my entries would be. I press play and confirm with what u say. I was right on. 2-3... getting better. Thank you for your vids!

Does the 9 ema strat work with 2 min candles as well?
My method, not saying its right but what is!? On tradingview I typically use Stoch RSI and MACD with VWAP, the 9ema shows up exactly the same as with Stoch RSI, you'll also get the added benefit of seeing the red and blue begin to cross giving you a heads up to get out of a play. Nice gains, nice video 👍

The reason your last move didn't work is because you need to look at the full body of candles that make the flag you need to include the pole or flag pole into the equation. The flag pole should be mostly green in your flag pole you had to many large elephant red bars which was a clear indication that a strong fight will go down... Be sure if your going to be trading flags and become a fibinochi based trader that you don't just look at the flag and position also take a look at the pole that makes the flag. If there's a couple small red bars in making that pole it's ok but if there are two are more elephant bars in making that pole then that red in the flag could be a more indication of a reversal and be not what your looking for.

Market orders
when I go market with TOS I get crushed everytime on the buy... no shit I only go limit now
Marketable limit orders. Hot keys with .05 cent spreads off from the bid and ask to try and limit slippage and guarantee fills
Hey I seen that you changed your EMA's to the 40 & the 105. Explain that? Does that represent the 5 and 15 timeframes?

Does this work with Futures? (ES)
Did you say to putting the 40 period ema on the 1 minute chart would be the same as the 9 period ema from the 15 minute chart?
The 40EMA on the 1 minute will closely replicate the 9EMA on the 5 minute. It’s not exact but very close. The 105EMA will be the 9EMA on 15 min.

You said that you’ve set a stop loss at last green candle in the flag, how did you do that ? I can’t find a way to put a stop loss on options based on the underlying stocks price

It looks like it plays the same way to the downside on your NVDA play. When it starts going down below the 9 EMA, it bounces off of it every time with a flag to the downside.
A couple of questions: 1. 9EMA Long: I know this has been a while since this rerecording but is the 9EMA still a part of your Break and Hold strategy...just a technical element you do not 'always' mention? 2. When looking at all of the trades made and specifically the one with NVDA at the ~ 10:48 mark the break and hold 'BELOW' seems to be a sound strategy as well. You didn't mention it in the preso but wondering if you use the technical Break and Hold below the 9EMA as another indicator when going short?
