Nice one mate. Nearly messaged you the other day as I had a problem with my finish and renner were all over it with helping me fix it! (My issue) can’t recommend them enough!
Nice one Matt. I do similar when scribing 3 sides. Although i tend to use strips of 6mm mitre bonded together to form one template. They can be a bit delicate to move about but it does the scribing and measuring in a oner. Plus if you only use a few drops of adhesive you can often pull them apart and reuse the other straight edge of the strips for the next one. And I've always got smaller bits knocking about the workshop from cutting cabinet backs etc. Keep up the good work pal
Yes mate I have tried that with a hot glue gun. It works well and great for angles. These walls were lumpy bumpy! Skirting boards were hard work too. I can’t stand lazy plastering! Thanks for watching, hope alls well
I set a finished height marginn on the frame then put an off cut of window board with a horn to the mark and mark a level line a long the reveals and on the corner of the reveal mark under the horn then I cut the plaster out with a multi tool, cut the window board bigger and slide it in that way there's no bead of caulk or crack lines.
Yes mate multi tooled out before. These were on gypliner brackets and bouncing all over the place. I would have lost the bottom fixing if I multi tooled out but I do agree it’s a better finish . Thanks for watching
Hi Dan. Can’t say I use it a lot but I do if it’s just for shapes with no scribe, also would have meant lots of drawing on boards and rubbing out as I used the same board for a house full of window boards, really good for parallelograms. In this instance I was more bothered by the side cheek scribes and the scribes on the back of the horns. It’s a great suggestion tho and I have an old systainer which I put scribing and measuring tools in which I take with me when quoting and installing. I will definitely cut a spare ticking stick and wack it in there. Thanks for watching
Great to see you back Matt! Hope all is well.
Thanks mate. Appreciate it ❤

Where have you been, I've been missing my Watts fix 😆
Ha ha, no where exciting!
Have you considered using a " ticking stick"?
