Glad you got it sorted Matt. I had a very similar thing a couple of days ago. Was loading the van for a wardrobe install and noticed one of the doors had a couple of large imperfections in it that I'd completely missed. Luckily I could leave that one door and get on with the rest of the job but I was already massively behind and these things take the wind out of your sails don't they? I agree with the one man band comment. I find it very hard sometimes as unless you are a big company / customer spending hundreds or thousands every month a lot of them aren't interested. Plus it's not even like you've got someone else to sort whilst you get on with something else. I'm definitely going to try the Renner on my next job. Did phone them and speak to them the other week. Very nice but as I'm a sole trader they won't sell to me direct so I'll have to go through Symphony or someone else. Did ask about the primer and of course they stopped short of saying I could use others. But that was a sales guy, obviously your rep is a rogue! Enjoy your holiday, I've not been on a board for about 10 years but you can't beat it!

I am Going to stick with their primer anyway and force dry. As soon as it touches dry it stacks so there is no worries there! One thing to remember about skiing or snowboarding is every year you don’t go is another year you have to wait! My boys at 12 and 10 and can pretty much do it all now so worth the effort!

Zell am see Austria. Took my eldest boys to bansko,Bulgaria. When they were 8 and 10 so they could have lessons as it was cheap. Highly recommend bansko with the kids on an all inclusive or full board.

@@Wattsjoinerybarn always heard good things about Bulgaria. I was actually pretty shit hot riding when I was younger but then just fell out of it. Wife used to ski a lot when she was younger too so would be nice to get back in to it some day. Have a great time and switch off for a bit 👍🏻

Good vid Matt. The struggle is real sometimes, these things always happen when you're up against it for time. I got the renner clear coat and it seems good. How do you find the colour matching from renner? Do you use colour swatches for your clients to choose? I ask as I've had nightmares with that in the past. Anyway enough of that, more importantly enjoy the snowboarding. 👍

I go direct to renner and apparently their colour match is a lot better than symphony. Personally it’s always been good enough but I always put a disclaimer in. It’s kind of like you can have FnB paint and be spot on colour but renner is more durable and 99%there colour wise. I should really offer swatches from say FnB but the books harder to get now so I just get them to pick what colour they want and get their own samples! Plus sometimes people want little green, mylands etc.

Hi mate, thanks. I had the dewalt one 2blade and it’s brilliant. Also had the triton one which is good. You can make a sled/jig which you can use to flatten one side so you don’t need a planer.
