The addition of Ray Luzier is like that haircut that makes you look 20 years younger but musically. Literally, I have rarely seen an addition that fills a band like this with so much fresh air.
Your mom is the coolest mom I’ve ever seen. I’m 16 as well and I love korn because I’m a metalhead, I discovered nirvana during a time of grief over the death of one of my cats and that opened the floodgates into the genre of metalcore and nu metal, and I was bound to eventually listen to korn and fall in love because of my guilty pleasure for Nu Metal despite being such a hated genre in the community. I just love the aggressiveness of your generic limp bizkit imitator and korn has that but they’re different in a good way; their Metal roots outweigh the hip hop which makes them a lot more enjoyable although having a rapper wouldn’t have been a problem. And I just love how their attires didn’t match the sound of their music at times lol, like fieldy dresses the most hip hop while the rest all dress like your generic metalhead in the early 2000s.
as someone that has been playing guitars for in excess of 20 years, these guys are some of the tightest musicians live i have ever heard, that bass is brutal
Saw them when Joey jordison filled in shortly after David left . You're absolutely correct I was grabbing a beer even the vendors were getting down everyone felt that groove no joke .
no way is ray better then dave. my cousin who is a drummer says the same thing but I think you both are crazy. dave was awesome and brought a whole different beat to korn and nu-metal when he was apart of korn.

I have to say, this is pretty much my favorite Korn song ever. And the video is so great on so many levels. The effects are great, and lesson is great. "There is someone who needs my help, and I'm gonna get up out of my comfy bed and go help her, because that is what I do. You get up too, and come on."
I'm 50 years old I've been playing music the majority of my life. I've played in thousands of bars and was fortunate enough to open for a few well known bands. Korn is an awesome band. Their energy is incredible! Awesome live and studio band.
Saw this guys in an HBO live broadcast from Woodstock 99' when i was 18, today im 40... and everytime i hear this riff i headbang like when i was a teenager... Good metal never gets old!
I saw these guys live with Disturbed opening. At the time I was a huge Korn fan but knew very little of Disturbed....both bands were incredible. Amazing concert.
I've never been a hufe Korn fan, but I keep coming back to this video. Their performance is so good, everything is executed so well, the mix is great. Shit rocks.
Ray took this band to the next level. He gave them the push they needed to stay relevant. If you don't believe me go to a Korn concert and see how much this band rocks now.
David really had a groove though. There's no denying he had chops, but you're right, suffice to say; Ray Luzier was always an amazing drummer and when I heard he joined KoRn, I thought "Hmmm, this'll be interesting" Setting his China in the middle bothers me though ;)
ever since i watched Guitar Center Sessions with KoЯn, i can't get enough their music!! LOVE IT!!! thanks for sharing this, it might have just made my whole year!!
Is it just me or did you notice these 40 sumthings looking great as ever. Hooray for health of band. These guys look like the're ready for another 10 years of rock.
You know, David was a great drummer...but holy crap Ray is slaying the drums in this song! He seems more like a technical player and it shows! Excellent performance all around!
Korn will always be my all time favorite band. Will always hold out hope that David will come back. Also, fieldy is such a nerd when he plays I think he’s the only one who believes he looks cool 😂 no moves at all it’s like he’s watching himself in the mirror I never could get over that
You can clearly see the happy face of Johnathan before the beginning of the main riff, where probably he's thinking something like "bring that shit in". I would be proud if I'd made a headbanging song like this!
Saw them back in 2002 during the Untouchables Tour. Waited behind the venue to try and get autographs. Fieldy is the only guy who would came out to talk to us and sign autographs. Cool dude and my favorite member of the band to this day.
That Bassist looks chill af, love his vibe. Just grooving away while everyone else is going crazy
That’s bc he isn’t playing anything. So he’s not feeling it like the rest of them.

After 14 years of Korn's smashing success, they still have the most balls crushing brutal ass kicking sonic sound in metal.
B Real they've been a band for 23 years.
True words
Hahaha bro. They are kindergarten compared to a lot of metal bands. They haven been around for a while but not as hard as a lot of others
@Scott Balmer They only tune a step down from standard bro
@@patientmental875 you sure it's just a step down? The low e string on the bass is damn close to a c# it feels like.

dave was the best!!!! he was far more creative then ray, too much double pedal dont sound like korn to me.
Saw Korn in 2020 for the first time, right before COVID-19 began. They sounded better than any other band I’ve seen live.
Still goes hard in 2019. New album is coming soon too. Exciting times folks
The nothing is a fantastic album. They've still got it and the emotion Johnathan brings makes every song that much more important
still goes hard in 2022
Man this song is so unique and strong.
The last chorus when the two guitars are full in aggressiveness is amazing.
These guys dont get enough credit for their genius contributions to music.
I love how mellow Korrn is then they just fucking explode. I love that.
