Deji killed it, no other way around. But Fousey def deserves credit. Instead of complaining and whining about his loss, he took it like a man. He had strong praise for both JJ and Deji after the fight and hasn't shied away from his mistakes. We need more people like him who show grace in their defeat.
It would be cool to see Fousey bounce back, and maybe train under JJ and Deji. He deserves another chance since his heart is clearly in it.

Deji’s technique, defence and tactics / boxing IQ showed in the fight, rightfully so he gets a deserved.
And Yousef deserves so much respect. The courage, dedication and bravery he showed is inspiring, he should be proud of what he’s done.

Deji did exactly what he needed to, stayed calm, didn't just throw bombs trying to get out as quickly as possible. When he was losing stamina he just went into a defensive position, to stop himself from becoming too exhausted and bring his stamina back up.

I think my favorite thing I noticed on a rewatch of the fight is every time he threw that lead hook, he would use that to pull fousys lead hand down right before throwing that heavy straight. Leaving him just wide open over and over

What most impressed me was how comfident he wss the whole fight , what a difference in self esteem from his last fight . Never seen fousey fight before and he impressed me to with how tough he was. Didnt complain or quit but took the beating like a man both under and after the fight

EVERYTHING went right for Deji this fight! Also props to Yousef. Not only was this a fun fight, this whole event wouldn't be possible without him (Most of the fighters came from HIS promotional company)

Shout out Deji for the W bro showed the potential that his brother and everyone saw in him. Also Shout out Fousey for taking this defeat like a man and not making excuses unlike some other dudes.
