Having better Internet connection, that's great. You guys are always making your life sweeter.
I hope the door doesn't get stuck anymore.
Love you guys ❤
The door seems to be working now I don't know what happened to it thanks for the comment Carmen.
We love you too my friend.
LOL, Julie’s right, “The things we do for internet / TV”. I remember being a kid, and my father telling me to go up on the roof and turn the antenna so he could watch the game. We’ve come a long way. Thanks for the video, be well guys.
Or add another piece of aluminum foil to the antenna lol
👍👍👍. Thanks Kevin/ Julie
Very welcome.
Thank you for the comment.
I have starlink and a lot of trees I didn't want to cut down too. I found the place in my yard that would give me the best shot of the North sky, got the 45 meter cable and cemented a 14 foot 4X6 for a base pole, 11 feet sticking out. To that I fastened a 20 foot harbor freight flagpole 6 feet up, and got a gen 3 dish flagpole adapter for it off ebay.
Using just the thickest sections of the flagpole and securing each section with a self tapping screw I figure I got the dish up around 23 feet and it's nice and solid. I wanted to get some good height on the dish while still keeping it a robust setup. I can still pull the screws and lower each section to get at the dish if I need to. Good luck with your setup!
We be setting it up soon it's going to be fun lol .
I have I think 15 foot pole hope it works thanks for the comment.
When you are scanning for Starlink, maybe you should do it standing on a step ladder since you are putting it on a pole.
Might be able to get it closer to the house that way.
Good idea Daryl thanks.
good video and job. internet has gotten to be pain . nobody is happy with there internet anymore including me. mine has gotten worse last few months that why i am way behind on watching video's. take care, be safe and well.
It's hard when you need for work.
It's hard to do my videos with out it.
Thanks you so much for watching John.
Hey, you didn't have any flapjacks when I was there.
There's always next time lol.
can you mount the star link to the tv antenna tower, even if you had to extend it it would be easier that digging a hundred and 150' ditch and burring it.
That would be nice hard to find the towers.
