I've seen Alan Smithee get credited for some music videos, such as Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You". That song is still one of the Top 10 Highest-Selling Singles of All Time, and I wonder why the director didn't want credit for that video.

Then Alan Smithee was resurrected in 2015 for the trashy horror movie, Old 37 starring Brandi Cyrus, older sister of the legendary Miley Cyrus!!! The director brought Smithee back from the dead and it’s the last movie so far that has the name!!!
