I think I'm addicted to this performance by now. Been listening on repeat for a week or so. That piano as it transitions into So American - wauw, stirs my emotions so much more than the album version intro. Never watched Always Sunny but I feel strangely drawn to Dayman. And that Disney kid drummer is just chilling beautifully.

my mom used to listen to this song all the time when I was little. makes me shiver every listen, honestly one of my favorite songs I've ever heard... When I found Portugal. The Man again after not hearing this song after years, I was so fucking amazed..

This is definitely my favourite iteration of PTM. As much as I don't want to think it, it makes me think Gourey is tough to work with because of the revolving door. He said in an interview it's because they tour so much. Seriously have my doubts about that.
LOL I don't listen to them but Dayman got me here. Love how it's a serious cover compared to the original. Thumbs up.
