if you never crash them chances are you're never flying them. You can't fly what you can't see. Keep the videos coming. they are always interesting and informative. Thanks for taking the time.
Hello Mr Thintz. Mishaps are all part of aero modelling. Hope the new fuselage wasn’t too pricey. Keep the videos coming. Cheers from a land down under. 🇦🇺
Sorry to see your crash. I burned one in this weekend myself. Totally my fault, a rookie mistake. But, the wing is repaired, and I'm working on the fuselage. Just waiting on glue to harden now. It will fly right next weekend!
Since I've gotten older and my eyesight is bad I've just been flying late evening so I don't have to deal with the sun! I totally understand what happened!
All planes have an expiration date, just some come sooner than ya expect! Nice video, as always! Have you updated the firmware and added in the bounceback to help steady out the flutter? I did that on my mamba and it made a big difference.
@@flyingrcdotnet flutter may be the wrong term, I guess I meant to say twitchy-ness if that’s actually a word, not sure. Bounce back varible reduces the control gain from sharp stick movements and smooths out the flight without adjusting the expo. There’s more info on it in the Flex Innovations wiki.
I know this video is from last year, but how do you adjust the "Twichiness" I am seriously thinking about getting this plane but I use a Futaba T14SG transmitter, is it compatible with that Aura 8?
Been there, done that. Recently put an tiny 48 inch SE5a into the weeds. Cute little plane with an OS .25 but really lazy roll rate. Just being a smart ass without sufficient altitude to cover my ass. It's balsa so it's pretty bad. I won't rebuild it. Never had such a tiny plane and didn't like it that much.
You screwed up. With that out of the way my 232 (60” 6s) found a rut and ripped the gear out which let it punch the nose in exactly like yours. I was surprised how well it fit back together just by dripping ca in the splintered area and holding the motor in place as it dried. It’s still my number 1 electric plane. Double check yours before you toss it.
If you tell me you never loose the plane when in silluet or you have never crash. I dont think you fly for real . Or you never stretch the rubber line so . 😅😅 happy landings mr.

Landing was a little hard, but you didn't even break the prop. Thanks for posting.
You are a good pilot, we’ve all been there. Those who haven’t are liars!

I've been known to do this on my channel too. LOL Can't wait to see more on this plane. 😀

I don't fly these planes fast enough to flutter most times. I will check the firmware though to be sure I am up to date. Thanks for the heads up.

@@flyingrcdotnet Don't be to hard on yourself, we all crash at some point for whatever reason 🤷
We all make mistakes i was flying my QQ extra, low and inverted pulled instead of pushed the stick and game over...
We've all done it....it's part of the hobby...once you make the mistake you learn everytime and grow
I hate flying anywhere near the sun

Thanks. I will take a closer look when I get some time. I always do, just give myself a little time to have a more4 realistic eye when I do.

You messed up... You were wrong. 😂😅😂🎉
No matter how you say you messed up, people can't help but tell you the same thing. And they say the Internet isn't full of leakers.
You messed up lol.
I am already making mental chalk marks on my outspoken detractors.
Why bother posting the video , next time do what everyone else does only post videos that have happy endings 😊
The "I told you so" faction gets disenchanted when they can't tell me I was wrong, again.
