I know this review is old but you did the best of all the QQ 300 reviews! I just did the maiden on my new 300 and you were spot on with all you reported. I even bought a set of the Dubro wheels you suggested. Thank you so much! Incidentally, all your reviews are superb! Please keep up the good work.
This is one of my favorite planes. Its a must have. I bought it before it was released and I hammer the plane ever since and it just keeps going. I get 4:30 on a 3s 2200. It does come back fairly warm but that's 4:30 minutes of grinning!
I used your cowl cutting technique on my new model. Yesterday was the 1st time in 28 years of modelling that someone complimented me on my cowl!!! Thanks m8.
It is comments like yours that makes the all-nighters putting this material together worth while. In the end I want to create information that people can use in their shop to benefit their hobby time. Thanks for the comment! Tom
Thanks a ton for the good review and informative video. I’ve been looking at this plane for a while now and I finally have the funds to get the night qq extra 300. Going to fill the spot in my hangar that opened up when I sold my long serving visionaire
Great flying Buddy. Got a question. Do you know, or have heard of anybody who has bypassed the AURA 8 Stabilizer. Just flew it old school. Like a Twisted Hobbies airplane. And how it flew if you do. Let me know please. THANKS.
Sorry, never occurred to me to take the Aura out of it. I have not heard of anyone doing that either. I love the Aura, in part because of my near constant use of the rudder and the Aura newer gets in the way.
@@flyingrcdotnet I have an Apple computer and I'm hearing to make any adjustments to the set in stone settings, you have to hook it up to a PC computer. Is it possible to make in flight trim adjustments. I'm going to like a lot more EXPO with those large control surfaces also. End point adjustments and duel rates to my liking. These are the reason I'm thinking about getting it and just bypassing the AURA 8.
You need to pulse the guys at Flex Innovations. I wish I knew how to answer your question correctly, but I just am not that up on how things interact with Mac computers and do not want to lead you ion the wrong direction on this. The people at Flex have always been very helpful and I expect will get you the right information on this.

Great review here for sure, I just purchased one and I’m wondering if you have the programming for a DX6e radio?
Sorry, I don't have that plane anymore and I only flew it on a DX9. The setup is not complicated though, the instructions should walk you through it.
White balance setting in your camera is a bit off
That white balance deal was operator error....camera is still smarter than I am.
