We rate albums out of 10. Any album that scores 8 or higher gets a Toe Tag. If an album gets Two Toe Tags then it gets added to the list in the link above. We do not review EP's but we may cover them in our New Release videos should they come up.
In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know RUclips can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

I agree with you guys that leading riff is so sick and catchy af! It makes you wanna cruise and headbang all along :3
And it's not a generic melodeath riff though In Flames also has some core elements to it as well
I mean, it's kind of the other way around. Modern Metalcore has melodic death metal elements, so it's more like metalcore bands sound like In Flames/At the Gates. The oldies will keep doing their thing in many cases, and imo it's better than the experimentation IF have made in the past, which...didn't really work for them imo
@@ptr_does_music7042 yeah like for example Shadows Are Security album by As I Lay Dying. That album had so many melo death In Flame esque riffs to it.

In flames going back to their 2000s way of riffage mixing with their more recent albums chorus style, or at least, thats what this felt to me. Combining both pretty well. I'm very excited for their coming stuff now with this release.

Since In flames dropped this new track I haven't stopped playing it. It slams and is definitely one of their better songs in recent memory . Hoping the rest of the album is close to this 🙏. Thanks for the reaction video fellas

You should check The Halo Effect. All members are old In Flames memebers. And music is like Whoracle/ Colony era In Flmanes
Halo Effect have been impressive but nothing close to Whoracle or Colony imo. They sound a bit more like Character-era Dark Tranquility to me
@@jaimesantiagolonga I think Days of the lost is straight from Colony imo. But Character era DT is fine for me too. I Like that allso. For me i get more IF vibes from the band even Stanne is singing

Any chance you guys could react to the music video by soilwork from about a month ago? I love soilwork and the music video from a month ago is great (not the one released this week)
Nah... InFlames no longer relevant. They have fallen into thr mediocrity for like ten or so years already hence I do not expect anything original or at least fresh sounding from them anymore.
This much we all know…but what did you think of the track? If the album as a whole can bring the same energy as this track, we could be in for a pleasant surprise. I’ll take the seeing is believing approach but my fingers are crossed.
