This is one of the best interviews I've seen this guy do. I feel like when u interview a band together it is way less awkward and more wholesome. Good job on this one, love this band! Also very good questions asked
This interview happenned vfew days ago, I just saw them in Montreal. Anders did talk crap about Budlight and Coors light all night, very funny guys on stage. Awesome band
My sweet shadow....is sick and I I to talk to Bjorn about it after a show. He tried to show me " just so like this " and I'm like you just do it like that I can't get this intro down lol
Bjorn really is one of my biggest influences when it comes to writing riffs and solos. Dude just has the tastiest melodic lines and some of the most powerful riffs. I especially love how In Flames use harmonies in their guitar parts to make their stuff more emotional and uplifting. Also, I’ve always loved their rhythm tones (probably part of the reason I always gravitated towards the old Peavey 5150 sound when jamming).
It was uncomfortable because it's a really fuckin stupid pointless segment. Wikipedia true or false? Are you kidding me bro? This shit is intended for the Zoomer generation that needs instant gratification and satisfaction, too fucking worthlessly lazy to Google anything themselves. The Zoomers and every generation after will be the absolute demise of the United States and the world in general. come find this comment in a decade if RUclips still exists and tell me how fuckin accurate I was. If only i could tell them personally how important there first 4 albums are for me! The melodies they have written are the most beautiful mixture of the best Helloween and Iron Maiden melodies but yet unique.
If you miss Jesper, you should check out his new band Cyhra! This whole year I've been getting into this band, I, The Mask being my introduction to the band. Then I went back to Lunar Strain and this journey has been completely amazing. It was actually funny seeing them live at Welcome to Rockville I believe in 2015, although I also saw them at the same festival in 2017, and Anders shit-talked the Bud Light he was provided and everyone thought that was pretty funny, so when he was just kinda hanging on not drinking shit, I was waiting for him to mention Bud Light by name again and was not disappointed.
Hes actually not. Dont get me wrong....I love Anders but he really is kind of a douche bag. Multiple experiences, run ins, friend runs ins, working show experiences. Bjorn is great but Anders......can be kinda....difficult. Pretty well documented in things that have happened with other bands as well. Might just be his personality but it can come across very rigid.
@@jamesnagel6264 I agree just from my one experience. I saw the band eating in an outdoors area of a restaurant by the sidewalk about 5 feet away from me as I walked from my car to the club they were about to play at. I recognized them so I waved and said "Oh hey, In Flames! Bjorn, Anders... Can't wait to see your show tonight." They looked up and a few smiled but Anders face palmed and shook his head, mumbling something unhappily like I just ruined his meal... A meal he was eating outside in public on a path to the club he was about to play at. My fan level permanently went down just a little.

It's unfortunate that they don't understand the over the top guitars, and fantasy type lyrics is what most of us fans miss most.
For Anders being the loudest one of the band either he is really uncomfortable or he is just a really quiet and chill dude which I would not expect.
