      I have the same issue. Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro I now upgraded to a 15 Pro Max because I always wanted to try out that bigger size. Unfortunately I have the feeling of making a mistake, but maybe I‘m just absolutely not used to it as the 11 Pro only had 5.8“. I feel like the upgrade to a 14 Pro with 6.1“ could have been enough for me.

    100% agree. I am using the iPhone 15 Pro. The Max is too big to use one handed, at least for me. I like the smaller Pro, since it is easier to carry in a pocket. I tried a Max on the 12th gen iPhone and went back to the regular Pro on the 13th gen. I skipped the 14 Pro and just upgraded to the 15 Pro at the end of my 2 year contract.

    I had to start looking at the Pro lineup as mini phablets. I’ve tested both 6.1 + 6.7. If Apple made a iPhone mini pro I’d stick with that but since they don’t I decided to bridge the gap between my 2 phones (personal 13mini + business - 14 pro max) and just purchased a 15 pro. I primarily use my Apple Watch Ultra. Decided on 15 pro is primary personal device and plan on getting s23 ultra as a business phone given the s-pen. So my day to day would be Samsung + ultra watch for notifications.
    If Apple allowed Apple Pencil on Max iPhone I would keep the max as a primary device or if we could pair Apple Watch with iPad.

    I had the 11 Pro for 4 years, recently upgraded to 15 Pro Natural Titanium as belated birthday treat for myself. So far I love using it!
    I think I've made the right decision because I don't need that extra camera feature and bigger size. I prefer a pocket friendly phone to be honest.
    For me big upgrade: Screen improvements, 5G, Wi-Fi improvements, bigger storage capacity, same weight as 11 Pro, USB-C.
    In my opinion I don't see the point upgrading every year as incremental upgrades are the norm but those incremental upgrades become big when upgrading after 4 or more years in my experience.

    Sounds like an upgrade in comfort and usability. They’re intended to be the same phone in different sizes, not an upgrade or downgrade (aside from the zoom, although there are situations where the Pro’s telephoto is preferable to the Pro Max’s)

    If the pro max wasn’t as wide as it is, it would feel way more usable one handed, I have a 14PM and have been debating over going for 15 pro instead of 15PM and came to that realization. The 15PM is not that much taller than the regular one it’s just a bit wider and that makes the difference, I have a Galaxy A14 5G issued from work that is about the same size as the pro max but it has the same width of the regular pro and I must say it feels more compact!

    I was actually considering purchasing the pro max this year but thinking about it, I don’t think I would ever be using the 5x zoom to its full capability and plus the last time I had a pro max phone was the 13 and that felt way to cumbersome on my hand so when the 14 came out I just went back to the pro. It does suck that apple put that 5x only for the pro max like the 12 pro series so it feels like apple has been in so many relapses of what they were doing.

      Pitaka truly is the worst. Their cases are thin and develop stress cracks around the edges from gentle handling. The best part? There’s only a 2 month warranty! That says a lot about a company when they only want to cover a product for the shortest possible time legally required.

      @WhoWeAre1311 7 месяцев назад

      @@danycardenas1614 That is your experience and I am glad it was a positive one. I purchased a Pitaka case for my iPad Pro and it was a piece of plastic junk! The so-called “Aramid Fibre” was just an overlay glued ON TOP of the back of the case to give it that signature look. In fact, it was nothing more than a sheet of vinyl. To add insult to injury, it barely lasted 4 months before it started developing stress cracks on the corners all while the vinyl was beginning to peel. That is when I decided to visit their website to make a warranty claim where I learned they only offer support for products sold 2 months after the date of sale.
      Think about that for a moment: you’ve just spent over $100+shipping on a case that starts to crack and peel after only 4 months. It is essentially considered a paper weight at this point because the company has purposefully decided to create the smallest possible window legal for repairs to be claimed so they wouldn’t have to lose money by having to RMA said product!
      I paid a lot of money for that case and for it to last so little time speaks volumes about Pitaka. Absolute, total GARBAGE company with GARBAGE products. Never again!

    I had the 14 pro Max and I went to the 15 pro, yes the battery life is different, you'll have more juice from the PM. Since I've had the 15 pro I find using my charger often, but I also only charge to 80%. I use the rapid charger on my car and it tops me off where it's not even a problem. I had the 15 PM for 2 weeks and the 5x was a let down. It would change to 5x digitally vs. optical more than once esp. if the lighting wasn’t perfect. And the loss of quality between 2x-5x was even worse compared to the 15 Pro’s 2x-5x. You also don’t mention that when you record video on the 1x and zoom in to 5x while recording it’s digital as well. But when you start recording at the 5x it’ll be optical. The PM’s battery was great, subjectively 2-3 hours more than the 15 Pro (Which I average 5-7 hours of on screen time on iOS 17.0.3). Even though the PM has a new weight and size difference from the 14 Pro’s, it was still a bit too big for me. But I will also agree with you that the speakers and viewing on a larger screen was more pleasing than using the 15 Pro. Ultimately, I returned the Pro Max for the 15 Pro, which I deem to be like an iPhone 14s…Transparently, I had the 14 Pro prior. For me and my uses, the new HDR5, ProRES LOG, USB-C and titanium body and arguably an improved battery has made my purchase justifiable. Appreciate the hustle for these videos! 😉🙌
