Correction at 2:32 - 3:00 in the video. You have the chemical composition of endolymph and perilymph backwards. Endolymph contains high concentrations of Potasium and low concentrations of Sodium. Perilymph contains high Sodium and low Potassium concentrations. This is important because the high Potassium levels in the endolymph allow Potassium ions to enter the hair cells and causes depolarization. This depolarization action opens calcium channels, which in turn causes neurotransmission of the signal along the nerve fibers. High potassium in the endolymph is critical in the process of getting the sound signal to the brain. You can find out more info by a doing a Google search asking "What is the chemical composition of endolymph?" Great video with that one small correction.

Have you looked into upper cervical care? It helped me immensely they take X-rays and see if the C1 atlas bone in your neck is out of position and interfering with the brain stem. Then they do gentle corrections to fix the problem.
Every few years I'll get a sudden feeling of "approach", then moments later one ear will start ringing louder and louder, growing steadily, my sense of balance shifting and even skewing my vision, and then it fades a few seconds later, back to normal. C1-C3 misalignment can cause this and Blair Method of Chiropractic corrects this.
