I am studying for my license exam. Your videos are the best resource i have found on the web. I understand soo much more now. Thank you. Please make more videos. You answer why things happen. So thankful.
Excellent and simple explanation! Thanks Doctor
I got a completely flat result on 2 specific frequencies that were tested (and only on the ipsilateral AR test, i did both), the others were pretty normal. No clue what this means, guess I'll have to wait couple months till they decide to finally schedule me an appointment
My name is Rick.
Amazing❤❤❤
Such a clear, easy to understand explanation - thank you!
Presentation was nice . Keep it up . Wish u good health ❤
Schamberger Junction
amazing really love it!
شرح رائع، معلومات في الصميم، فقط في عشر دقائق
i would also pay for a course on audiometry. I would even consider dropping out of med school if it meant that you would make this course public on RUclips
I have been suffered so long to truely understand this topic until this video. Can't thank you enough for this phenomenal lesson, Sir!
he is great, wish i would have every teacher like him from my school
Thank u doctor thats was amazing
I was diagnosed. Less then a year ago.its crippling .it hit out of no where. I have an extreme case where I have "drop" episodes and extreme panic attacks. I'm getting ready for hearings aids now that my hearing is almost non-existent I. Everyone has a different experience but this is mine
What a beautiful explanation. 💯💯💯💯
There's trouble with your microphone.😮
Amazing 🤩
Thank you, you made reading audiogram much easier. Great explanation on interpreting the audiogram results and type of hearing loss.
Thanks a lot Sir.A long time since i have heard from such a good teacher worthy of real respect.God Bless.I have been watching a lot of teaching videos. This is the only one among the 4-5 ones in which i pressed the like button.
I had a stroke in 2017 and I have reason to believe a type a tympanogram was done five days after my stroke. My question is - would I need to have been aware and responsive for this test to have been done? My visitors tell me I was heavily sedated and unresponsive at the time. Just gathering information to try to convince my GP to get my hearing tested.
I would like to find an affordable omni directional for my oticon hearing aids. Something I could put in middle of dining table that would allow me to hear from all.
Very well presented. I learned a great deal. Thank you.
Correction at 2:32 - 3:00 in the video. You have the chemical composition of endolymph and perilymph backwards. Endolymph contains high concentrations of Potasium and low concentrations of Sodium. Perilymph contains high Sodium and low Potassium concentrations. This is important because the high Potassium levels in the endolymph allow Potassium ions to enter the hair cells and causes depolarization. This depolarization action opens calcium channels, which in turn causes neurotransmission of the signal along the nerve fibers. High potassium in the endolymph is critical in the process of getting the sound signal to the brain. You can find out more info by a doing a Google search asking "What is the chemical composition of endolymph?" Great video with that one small correction.
Where were you when i first started ENT course❤😢
