Hello Doctor, I have a permanent perforated right eardrum from tubes to treat ear infections I had as a child. I was told by my parents that I spoke normally before the perforated eardrum, but afterwards I had difficulty pronouncing "R" and words ending with "R". Can a perforated eardrum cause this? And can repairing the the perforation with a skin graft be able to help? Thank you.

I also have hearing loss in my right ear and wear a hearing aid on my right ear.
