I think it's safe to assume that the original Mauler died a long time ago & the clones just keep cloning themselves, though this does beg the question why Mauler doesn't make a handful of clones instead of just 1 at a time?
I like how the remaining mauler isn't angry. He's only annoyed
His fault. Should’ve stopped killing Invincible
cuz he can probably easily fix himself
@@guccisteppa3551 He can clone himself again, but the damage is permanent and conflicts with how the Mauler Twins operate - that way, they know exactly who is the original and who is the clone. It's bad for their formerly flat work hierarchy.
The Maulers feel extremely limited pain due to genetic alterations. Similar to Marvel’s Mr. Sinister without the regeneration.
Thats King Mauler
"You did that to yourself"
I love that Mauler is rational about placing blame instead of doing the normal petty villain thing of 100% blaming Mark.
and he did do it to himself. which makes it really funny how he pins the blame on mark when it was him who took the helmet off 😭
and even when he did that to himself, he did it to save mark, and now ironically wants him dead. it's really funny
It's a really nice change to focus on how all the other Levys from alternate dimensions hated their Invincibles because they were evil. Now all of that hatred is combined in Prime Levy's mind and he lost track of his original memories and mindset. This is a much better explanation of his hatred than him just blaming Mark for deforming him. Basically just adding 1 line of dialogue significantly improved his character and that's a sign of great writing!
I dont remember if the comics also gave this explanation?
@@franciscoOrellana29I actually don’t think they did! Maybe it’s to be assumed in the comics but the show does a great job with his backstory
@@franciscoOrellana29can’t remember myself but if he did he definitely brings up his deformed look a lot more
@@franciscoOrellana29 yeah, after Eve confronted him he realized the cause for his hatred but only to be captured and torture by an evil version of Invincible for his power
@@franciscoOrellana29 unlikely since the show improves the comics in ways since now the writer can look back upon it
That "I won't rest until I've killed-!" line was performed hauntingly well. You could really feel his anger and rage
Not enough people are talking about how good that line was!!!
@@coneybaloney6150 Right?! Accompanied with the music in the BG!

@@convoid1888spoilers
Angstrom is thought be marks greatest enemy. He makes deals with alternate versions of mark which leads to them Invading the main universe and killing millions of people. People refer to it as the invincible war
@@Chiefteeth1 I guess all that knowledge from his alternate versions of himself made him go mad
Until thrag war arc?
Angstrom kinda reminds me of The Leader from The Incredible Hulk.
Also, the Mauler Twins are weirdly wholesome for homicidal criminals. Angstrom nearly kills him in an explosion by disregarding his advice and doesn't even uphold his end of the bargain, and he's still trying to take Angstrom to the hospital.
He's kind of a mixture between The Leader and Kang the Conquerer.
Fun fact: Angstrom wasn’t ignoring his injuries when he portaled away, he just went to the dimension with the best health care he knew of lol
I was thinking like a mix of leader and Modok maybe it's just the big deformed head that reminds me of modok.
lol the guy who got kicked by abomination and drops of Gama blood fell on his head which made it look deformed 😂😂😂
makes me wonder why they were trying to kill the president. maybe they were working for someone else.
How quickly he lost sight of his original goal and became obsessed with his own vanity 😢
His mind got scrambled. He screwed him self up and mixed up a bunch of minds. He might as well not be able to tell the difference between reality and fiction. He has really just lost his mind and being dead would be a mercy. Hes not who he used to be. It was his own mistake, but he was a good guy before he screwed up and made him self a bad guy.
He remembers what the other evil Invincibles did and conflated what happened to him with them. The one we saw at the beginning of the episode, honestly feels like he’s in “charge” now
It's not quite as simple as losing sight of a goal so much as his mind was morphed by the experiment. The machine was supposed to let him still remain 'himself' while simply having his counterparts memories. Sense it went wrong it seems he lost control, and now he is basically a new entity created from the fusion of all those minds and differing personalities.
Any moron thinking they can create utopia deserves this.
@@DrGandWooh maybe, that’s probably why we focus on that variant during the beginning of the episode
To go more in-depth to Aangstrom's villain turn, not only did he get mixed up with a bunch of minds, but a bunch of minds that have lived a reality where Invincible turned evil.
As the main Aangstrom stated earlier, in most realities, Mark conformed with the Viltrumites (or maybe it's just the realities he knew) which is safe to say that a majority of Aangstroms he recruited lived in a world with an evil Mark, which is why regardless of main Aangstrom's feelings of guilt that Mark was getting killed in front of him, his mind is now so scrambled that its overpowered by the other minds.
0:25
i love that mauler corrects him that he did that to him self and that he needs a hospital, which he is absolutely correct about
At least Mauler called him out on blaming Mark.
That's why I like the Maulers. They are villains, yes, but they aren't petty. They make no excuses for the things they do, but they still know what they are doing is wrong. And if they see others doing the same they are quick to point that out instead of fermenting it by agreeing to nonsense.
@@andrewowens4421 they’re not even invincible enemies for real. They just want him out the way that’s all
Literally after him and the guardians out the way, they literally focus on themselves
@@andrewowens4421I mean they are a little petty. They tried to use immortal to kill robot and the rest of the guardians.
Well, they finally did the title reveal after a full episode of repeatedly saying Invincible's name. Dramatic pauses and everything.

Bro it was so well done in this episode
We were getting edged bro 😏😏 then when it happened i was like oh yeah, ambatakum
Honestly, even if this had gone to plan. How was giving yourself ALL the memories of dozens of different versions of yourself, all of whom are likely over the age of 30, EVER going to work out well? His brain wouldn't be able to handle such a thing.
Indeed. That was what the machine was also meant to do. Allow Angstrom to obtain the memories of all his counterparts yet also keep those same memories from mixing with his own original memories. But when the machine overloaded & exploded, it scrambled his brain & now he's basically a mix of all those alternate counterparts who all shared one common thought: that Invincible is the bad guy who murdered everyone "Angstrom" loved along with billions more.
1:18 is my favorite sterling K. brown does a great voice performance you can just feel rage that levy is feeling.
The beginning of the clip cuts it off but I love the little detail of Mauler thinking/hoping his twin somehow survived the blast as well
If this guy can continue creating portals, it is very easy for him to bring the evil invincible in an act of desperation (I didn't read the comic, but it's fun to think about it)
well your kinda right, kinda
That's exactly what's gonna happen, probably in the thrid season, amstrong will bring all the evil invincibles to destroy this earth
Sorry, I didn't proof read that.. I meant crossing any uncrossed line, not lome.
If you haven’t read any replies yet turn off your notifications bro
Pls allow me to introduce to you:
The Invincible WAR🤣
He blames mark because his brain is scrambled, but also becauze to all the other versuons of him mark is rvil, with his brain so scrambled he cant see mark as his version, he just sees a mark attacked him and he sees a lot of marks all bad that deserve horrible fates. Sense he is looking st mark loke that, he thinks he deserves a horrible fate and is going to try to inaxt that on him.
The voice actor did an amazing job. You can hear the pain in his voice
it was hilarious how the mauler twin pushed him like “gtfo off me man”
The voice acting in this scene is so on point.
Levy's lines here are so perfectly executed. Some of the best voice acting I've ever heard.
Bro the mauler legit told him it’s his fault such a hypocrite
He's not really, he's just insane
His brain is so filled with the hatred off all the alternate versions of invincible he turned into a “brainiac”
That was disgusting dark and gory. Perfect
0:33 Angstorm’s last moments of sanity

I got a kick out of the Invincible title card coming up at the end after the show teased it the whole episode.
I know right! It's a tease fest all over.
Yup I was right the title literally does look like the netflix title screen
Even Rex-plode got in on the teasing with “Wait, is that……….Invincible?”
the delivery of that line made me feel like American voice acting is starting to reach that anime level
Angstrom Levy looks exactly like that big brain wojack
Really hope Angstrom manages to piece his thoughts back together. He really seemed like a genuinely good guy.
But he will be another big villain
Bro’s brain went Super Saiyan 3
The best title card drop ever
At least Mauler tried to convince him that those deaths he remember of are not his memories, that those Invincibles are not the one responsible for this.
It’s no use at that point.
I loved how in a way, the Levy we saw from the evil Invincible timeline survived and will have his revenge by using the true Levy’s power, who metaphorically died in the explosion
i know it's unlikely but now that Angstrom wants to fight Mark, i hope we get that spider-man cameo like in the comics
quite unlikely but I would like it to happen even if it is a small reference
@@franciscoOrellana29Cecil: Invincible, why did you create that guy?
Mark: I-I didn't! He's talkin' crazy!
Josh Keaton is voicing an unknown role…..but that still seems unlikely
@@sebastianmaregattii mean they teased it in the eve special and they mentioned it on twitter
This moment is SOOOOO much better than it was presented in the comics. Its a key detail and I just posted a reel about it!
I remember questioning how he was gonna handle all of their memories. The human brain can only handle 300 years of information so hed be able to take 8-10 people max if he wants any time to live and not be completely brain dead.Cant say i expected them to just give him a bigger brain.
Mauler saying “you need a hospital” is surprisingly cute
Also good on him for not blaming Mark
Man you genuinely feel sorry for Angstrom Levi. The guy could have seriously improved the lives of billions of people if he had not acted on his own and conspired with criminals.
Well they did a lot better job at least partially making Langstrom more sympathetic than in the comics.
"I won't rest UNTIL I'VE KILLED--"
(Invincible title card)
Sterling K. Brown's putting in work! My soul!
Bruh went Super Saiyan 3 :/
Super Brain 3
If only he let the Mauler's kill Invincible.....
but then Invincible would be dead and the show would be done lol
@@luckn.3371 He would have done way more good than bad. Every universe across the entire multiverse could have been saved, and billions of deaths might be avoided.
It’s tragic because if he was the kind of guy willing to do that, he would most likely be the kind of guy to abuse his power for only his own benefit, meaning it actually might end up poorly in that case. It’s because he was so uncompromisingly benevolent that he took the helmet off, which is why he likely would have used the knowledge right. If anything its the Maulers’ fault for not listening to instructions from the guy with a bomb trigger
@@TheAzulmagia wait, what this show doesn't scream "Vincible"?
If Mark just let Angstrom explain why he was doing this, none of that would've happened
the fact that Mauler told him he needed to go to the hospital shows he aint a bad guy
I find it interesting that Mauler is reminding Angstrom that he caused the accident and that his memory is scrambled when he’s talking about how evil invincible is because he knows that Prime Invincible is a Hero through and through.
am surprised how fast they set up Angstrom Levy.
Remember when people were saying some of the humans in this franchise will be ever more horrifying than a lot of the Viltrumites? You're all about to find out exactly why that is the case _VERY soon..._
Who would have thought that combining thousands of memories in which Mark is the villain would make this dude hate him. I'm surprise he didn't see that coming.
I like the irony that in growing his mind, Levy lost it as well
Amazing Show Fr
This is really sad for a charecter trying to be a hero but lost all sight of himself and became a sad villain.
Casually talking as half his body is melted 😂
I feel like the only change I would make to this episode would be to have all the other "Invincible" fakeouts use a word other than invincible, like "indestructible" or "undefeatable" etc, so that when Angstrom finally says it at the end of the episode it has more impact. Don't get me wrong, the gag is still funny, I just think this would have made it better.
"You did that to yourself...and THIS to me!" 10/10 voice acting, makes me laugh every time.
Also "You need a hospital." "BLUGGGHHHHH!" *coughs up a gallon of blood* Nah fam, I need Revenge.

They gave this character the spiderman 2 doc oc orgin story
*Your brain scrambled. You've lost track of what memories are yours and which come from the others.*
I NEED REVENGE-
You need a hospital
If you have all of their memories, then surely you'd recall that it was YOU who took the helmet off causing the whole explosion, NOT Invincible.
Yeah but he also has way more memories of mark killing people around him, they probably each have like 50 times people were killed by invincible though I'm surprised their not more angry at Omni man for betraying earth, he was more popular
Oh dang, new season started already 😮😮
I love how the dialogue can also apply to the original Levy, and how this new Levy (plus the minds of hundreds of dudes) hates the original for his creation and all the experiences he´s been forced to suffer.
The fact his skull is like broken from the top because of his brain
The hell is wrong with this dude?!
he's 70% brain now
He now has the brains of hundreds of alternate hims. And almost all of them hate Invincible, so its overwhelming him with hate

@@newmethados5817Having the memories of dozens of his variants or more... he might end up having a multiple personality disorder. And that might overwork his brain more than it already happened.

Ahahahha 😂
the intro implies the entire episode was a cold open
Not honna loe the maulers were prettu chill this episode this one seemed genuinely concerned for him
Yakub Final Form
I was gonna say it seems that angstrom levy would be good because he saw invincible become evil, after what happened to him he was nearly brainwashed after his mutation
"you did that to yourself, and THIS to me"
"you need a hospital.."
damn, the mauler twins might not be good guys but they arent evil neither
there are so many times they showed kindess or sympathy to others
but this stands out to me; the twins, this one for instance, not only got hurt and disfigured by this, but killed later if what the twins said eearlier is true
"we have to make the process seemless, so we cant tell which is the original, if we dont and one knows they are the clone....it causes problems"
not sure if i recall that correctly but the idea is the same; the clones need to be identical so they cant REALLY for SURE tell who was the original and who is the clone
now that twin is disfigured and if he makes a clone it'll be OBVIOUS who is the original.... but he dosent kill the man out of anger for this
Spiderman crossover when?...
Honestly what happened to his brain is brutal I can’t imagine that happening to me🤢
Do you mean physically or mentally?
“Mentally” would be much worse, having so many trauma from different selves, that you can’t tell where one trauma ends and another one starts

I love how Angstrom completely ignores the fact that his dumbass was the one who took off the helmet, which The Mauler Twins told him expressly not to do. All of this is completely his fault
Also the Mauler twins, they were blood thirsty. Then again, him hiring them is his fault. But overall, Angstrom is petty.
You actually kinda see his fragmented mind try and tell him this “I-HE RUINED, EVERYTHING”. It’s like there was a small part of his conscious trying to rationalize his accident only for the others memories clouding his judgement

Im pretty sure he does it to prove the point that the Mauler being made is the clone and he is the original. If that makes any sense, kind of confusing.
They said in season 1 briefly that more than 2 complicates things
In the previous season he said that he once tried to make multiple clones but they just started fighting each other, so keeping it a two is the ideal number.
Oh god, it’s like his entire brain grew 5x it’s size and is trying to bulge out of his back
