Ive been waiting for the OD green Stitch to come back in stock. I wanted the apocalyptic finish as well which I believe yours also is, great minds as they say. Just scopped one up on BHQ for $266 after using some points. Cant wait, a real Borka is my grail but this will suffice for now!
Awesome knife! Bought two of the MSI's and this is definitely on my purchase list. The Stitch is a good companion to have walking in a dark alley alone or situations where the need arises. Great cut test and knife is sharp as hell. Thanks for sharing brother!
I have several versions now and found out recently that all Microtechs in natural clear aluminum are Type III hardcoat anodized as a bonus! I thought the Stitch was the best $300 knife you can get (for me), I now think it’s the best $300 knife period.
You KnifeTubers always setting the bar very highly. lol 1:12 that early in the morning I definitely remember those mornings. It’s got a awesome logo on the blade it looks like TB that’s Kevin TRAILBLAZER Holland great knife you always acquire lots of really really nice knives. I’m always enjoying watching your videos thank you 😊😊
nice test to see the new version. I've got 3 old auto stitches these years, all served well. It is definitely a great knife, wicked shaped and that thin bte just made this knife a great cutter but also sturdy enough to endure abuses😄
Hell yeah dood, I love my stitch. Definitely the sharpest factory edge I have ever gotten. I hear a lot of people complain about the HRC but I have been using it over the last couple of months and have not needed to sharpen it yet just strop, guessing it's the blade geometry. And I think you're on to something about the thick seam pockets as I have not had a problem with the clip in or out of pocket and all my pants have extra thick pocket seams made for knives. It's kind of weird I have the opposite problem that you do with the hot spot, in the regular position it's pretty bad but in the choked up position it completely disappears and it is extremely comfortable. Love your cut tests brother, thanks man!
Weird! Guess we’ve got different shaped hands or something. Yea I agree man, I hear the HRC is a little lower than it should be but so far it’s been performing great.
Very nice brother, im not sure which model stitch I want yet , im thinking a blacked out version with as little billboarding on the blade as possible, I also want to grab an auto version definitely but manual 1st
👍🏼I like it. My sharpest factory edge in a long time was my first nightshade. The way it first went thru paper looks sharper than my nightshade. 👍🏼 Clip; re-bend, grind down tip, different screws. :)
I just sold my benchmade infidel to pay for a manual stitch with the OD green fluted handles and the apco blade! This was the first Microtech that I was able to get in the exact style I wanted! Can’t believe they are soooo hard to get. Blade HQ normally sells out of the style I wanted in 10-30 minutes.
That is a wicked knife for sure. I’ve always loved the look and I won’t lie, the super low 57 to 59 hardness threw me off but seeing it still perform fairly well is a good sign and a bit perplexing honestly. I wonder if they treated the Stitch a bit higher than the MSI.
My stitch is sharper than any knife I’ve ever owned right out the box! The point will absolutely puncture even tough fingers and straight slice you up. It’s crazy how sharp it came.
Ive bent a clip like that before.. frustrating as fuck. I have to agree dude this is one of the best designs you can buy when it comes to just raw cool factor.
Definitely one of the baddest looking knives out there. Shame about the pocket clip. I wonder if there are lower-profile screws you could put in there?
I think its probably the coolest looking blade out there aside from a warhound deffinitly not a "practical" edc shape it should be a dagger but none the less its cool af.
@@doodysdaggers thank you. There are many videos where they fail relatively easy, but they have improved the lockup over the past five or six months with a slightly different ledge. I love the look of the knife, but I am skeptical of the ergonomics. I think I’m gonna spend the extra, 100 and get the auto to alleviate any doubt
I always wanted one of these but never seen it being used. I think I better stop watching your videos because I want to order one after watching your cut tests
@@tacticalcenter8658 yeah maybe cpm and bohler difference.. I tested the BOKER s35vn vs a Boker F3.5 2 cpm s35vn and m390 holds a better edge in my MKM Fara than cpm s35vn then plain s35vn .. i'm like what the heck?!?!?!
I've always thought it was a sick looking knife, but did not expect it to be that thin behind the edge. That's dope!
I bought one on Knife Swap this week and can't wait! Thanks for showing off the capabilities!

Wicked look, wicked sharp yo.

Yeah definitely! Now I kind want an auto version too 😬
Did surprisingly well.
"The clip sucks cause I bent it" 🤣

Sweet blade bro 🥷🏽⚔️🤙🏽
wicked, I agree. I'm waiting on a blacked out, fully serrated auto. viscous.

that is a good looking blade
They need to use the same clip they use on the Amphibian.
Wow! I have to Get one soon!!! They go so fast though…..

Yeah I might grind the tip down a little
I want one now! Can you get a better quality pocket clip for this one?
I plan on getting one eventually, I’m sure they will be around a long time so no rush
Yep no doubt!
Man, you are not kidding about the sharpest factory edge! I had one of my wifes hairs, and it was able to shave strands off of it no problem at all.
Insane!!

Yeah I dunno, maybe they upped it on newer models or something

Dude I know mine too! It was nuts
Been diggin the intro song to these cut test videos Doody! That thing is sweet too
I need it

Any chance you could do a video comparing the Microtech Stitch and the Kunwu Padre?
I will soon, when my Padre comes in the mail!

There probably is, just gotta find some
I think its probably the coolest looking blade out there aside from a warhound deffinitly not a "practical" edc shape it should be a dagger but none the less its cool af.
Yep absolutely. Not super practical but it can still get some work done! 🤠
I've had plenty knife clips that grabbed the forklift seat belt and bent. It sucks!
My UTX-85 came with the sharpest factory edge I've ever felt.
I might consider trading my WE Nefaris for one of those...maybe.
So you are liking the M390 MK? I’ve heard peeps say it’s not heat treated properly
Seemed pretty good to me
@@doodysdaggersnot too soft like neeves and others have stated?
How is the RAM lock holding up? I ask because I see you are knowledgable and I’ve see many reports that it is a weak lockup….?
It was fine for me as long as I owned it. I ended up selling it a while back
