This was one of the most helpful presentations I have seen for EDS. The practical part at the end helped me understand my posture problems better.
I wish we had more experts on EDS in Germany. Every Physiotherapist and Doctor I talked to about my joint pain had at best heard of EDS before but had no idea how to help me or who to refer me to. Some even told me to drop trying to get a diagnosis for my connective tissue problems. Makes me wonder how many people gave up on finding a diagnosis or got misdiagnosed with something else.
But I am glad I can find so much information from experienced doctors in the US and GB.

Fabulous presentation and great to hear a surgeon talk about the body holistically and about exercise. We need more surgeons like Dr Caraggio.

Great presentation. Thank you. It was very helpful understanding how genetic testing can guide how effective surgery will be.

I didn't know about EDS until age 71! I practiced neuromuscular therapy and was very aware of biomechanics. Always had to work with my dizziness and neck pain. Finally in the care of a functional MD after a torn hip decades ago treated with the first known scope & microfracture and 20 years later a failed hip replacement (full inch too long-I'm only 5'2"-and bad angling), then 5 years later (a year ago) had a successful revision of the hip replacement. So grateful for the miraculous revision. Good to finally know what caused my hip to pop out and tear to begin with. Also had my sacrum straightened years ago by an excellent PT. Also did Pilates and other regular exercise, but knew I had to work harder than everyone else, and didn't know why. Thanks for this lecture!
