This dude Craig Ross is the most underrated guitarist in the history of music. I swear. I just saw them last night in Saint Louis, and I cried when he hit the Are You Gonna Go My Way solo.
Wow, he is also a great blues player.
You 're so right ! Underated is the word! His genious is to let put the light on LK but from the bottom of his heart this guy is not here to overpass Lk but more tattoo something in our minds. He is so far away one of the best of modern musical history. Hope that peoples gonna make him recover at his right place (sorry I'm my french, I hope my words feet with my feeling)

Yeah I knew Craig was the real deal when he played the Whole Lotta Love guitar solo in front of Jimmy Page note for note. I knew then he was different!
@@vincevanderperre6484
Who the hell said Lenny was underrated? We all said CRAIG ROSS is.
@@vincevanderperre6484
You do realize when I said underrated I meant in the pantheon of great guitarists, right? He's almost NEVER mentioned. Not underrated as in mediocre. Underrated as he doesn't get credit for his skill. Glad to see you understand definitions of simple words.
Probably the most underrated guitarist of all time! Saw him live in Stockholm together with Lenny Kravitz and DAMN how satisfying those classic rock solos were!
This dude has the chill factor going.
Craig Ross performance was amazing during theLed Zepplin Tribute at Kennedy Center. Saw him & Lenny at Berkshire event in 2022 and was amazing being right upfront in the pit seeing these guys perform. Craig has to be one of the best guitarists ever. I'll never forget it.
Craig Ross, Peter Stroud and Audley Freed keep the old school going.
I saw Craig play at Wembley Arena in London a few years back and he totally blew me away. One of the best, if not the best guitarist I've ever heard.
Jerry said you never heard of Jeff Beck, jimmy page, edh, because this guy is on the bottom of the list in the hundreds of thousands
Craig Ross is soooo down to earth, like Lenny Kravitz. I always loved him since the early Kravitz days, his wild, electric Zeppelin hair and amazing guitar is the BEST!
30 years with Lenny Kravitz. Nice gig.
I thought Lenny was in his 30's!! Just found out he is 55. So, He looks great. Music keeps us young. Peace!
Chess I don't know how old you are but it goes by very quickly. I remember Brad Pitt was a kid like yesterday. He's 56 years old. WTF
@@guitarocd9984 I'm 60, but I was 25 two days ago! Man, how true my friend!
An old lady came up to me and said how are you doing remember me from school. I said holy shit who are you. I had to go take a closer look in the mirror.
When it really hits me is when I see my age on a document. I say to myself no fucking way. LOL
The Brilliant Craig Ross!🔥❤️🔥
This guy has been with Lenny Kravitz since day one! That quite an accomplishment for any bandmates.
OMG one of the coolest and most brilliant guitarists out there....bloody brilliant.
No - what the hell did I just listen to? This is the kind if playing that a 9-5 working man who practices blues every night and on weekends can perfect. Nothing about this was even remotely impressive.
@@wayfaerer320.. yeah but great hair gets the big gig lol
Absolute legend, love his style of playing. Learned so much from him over the yesrs
Same homie. Those bits of bends hold true
Top notch guitarist. A breath of fresh air for the RUclips channel.👍 🎸
I love this show!
my dream guitar
I just learned the coolest funk pattern from Craig Ross! Thanks Craig! and Thanks Norman!
A heart full of soul 👍
He is an awesome guitarist who plays with real feelings. You can’t teach that.
Great underrated guitar player! Always loved him in any Kravitz song... Are you gonna, Believe (legendary solo), etc...
Craig.. mi gran maestro en las 6 cuerdas. Un tipo humilde y super talentoso.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MR.CRAIG ROSS' PLAYING..
HIS PHRASING.
HIS CHOICE OF 🎸 GUITAR'S.WHICH IS USUALLY GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM'S..
I LOVE THE WAY THAT HE BENDS STRINGS..
THE UNISON BEND'S ARE JUST PHENOMENA....

craig ross is a hidden gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if all dont notice will dissaper
Cool guitar player! Cheers from Brazil guys!
That was friggin' awesome !
Thanks for this amazing three fingers pentatonic trip.
Craig seemed really thrilled to be there 😂
One of the most underrated guitarists of the 90's. His live work with Lenny is unreal. Don't think he got the chance to rip on the recorded versions.
He does. He is one of the only persons "allowed" to join Lenny in the recording process. He plays many of the solos in Lenny's songs.
He ain't underrated to true fans and people who know what's up, we don't care about the general opinions or the rolling stones top 100!
THIS IS AWESOME
Dream guitar
THIS DUDE! 🔥🙌🏾

Very soothing
So underrated
CRAIG! You f'n Rock !
A lot of talent there.
What a feeling
Oh yes Craig... this guy is awesome. :)
Soulful
Norm is the freaking BEST!!!
He's like when in family dinners, parents and relatives tell you to play guitar...
Nice sound!
So, Craig is in his 50's?? Looks great!! Peace!
Bob Ross' son? He played so many "happy licks".
great one
Those pick-up/volume/tone changes though!!! Gee mister! I ain’t ever seen something like that!!!
Craig is the man!!! Superb player
He sounds exactly like me, like this book blues you can use vol. 1
I think the honor should be for him for visiting such an amazing store.
Craig is a very underrated guitar player... if you ever get a chance to see him play on tour with Lenny Kravirz I recommend it! Plus he ALWAYS has the best guitars and gear..figures he is at NORM'S!
Yeah very underrated
I could not agree more to that. He is awesome. You can‘t even find an interview with him on the net, at least I could not find anything. This video is very rare from that perspective.
that's the blues baby!!
He’s thinking, “I’m never coming back in”....
Lool
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"... that's my wife"
So does Goya...
Love Craig
Don't delete the vidéo !!!
Mr. Ross is a beast of a guitar player, he played some of the meanest cuts on Lenny Kravitz albums.
The charm about Norm and crew is they are really a bunch of normal Goofs in a Rock and Roll World.
@@8chk92 'long as you got maybe $12K to kick in.
One of the most underrated guitarist .... Just listen to the solo on Sister
jason schifo I thought his playing here was boring as hell. Phrasing sounds like he’s just copying blues guitar for beginners lessons.
wayfaerer320 As Norm pointed out, it’s because he does not really want to be playing in the video. Not only do I think he’s underrated, he is also very humble and unassuming, and does not like the spotlight. This is probably the reason why he has played with Lenny for 30 years. He is more than happy to let Lenny have all of the spotlight.
@@CFCMahomet I'm not saying he's not a nice guy or that he's not a humble - I'm sure his. I just don't get anything at all out his playing here.
Solid. Mega.
The GREAT CRAIG ROSS....!!!!!!pure FEELING....!!!
LOVED THIS VIDEO FOR THE GUYS ANF THERE WASNT 10 MINUTES OF TALKING BEFORE THE GUITAR PLAYING EITHER
Acho esse cara incrivel, classico, digno de tocar com Lenny.
Tbm
Norm was rockin' That JB. . .
Doesn't matter which guitarist you take in Carlos Guitarlos is always the coolest 😎
es como si fuera una extensión de su cuerpo , que genio
I love him sooooo much such a nice dude
I met him at Nassau airport and we talked about my 63 hummingbird
Lots of love for the three there five🎩🎩🎩

who needs pedals with a 335? Craig MFer!! So good. I know you get paid well to do this live but thank you for giving us some time to enjoy sitting down with you on the couch.
Genius
Nice thks
Wow! Clean 64!! Wow!! Craig Ross!!

UP CLOSE IT WAS A VERY RICH BEAUTIFUL COLOR
THE TONE WAS GREAT
IT HAD A MELLOW QUACK
GuitarlosCarlos yeah it looks at least on my little phone like it’s got maybe a little checking. But only enough to add character. It is a beautiful guitar. That’s a great explanation of the sound. A mellow quack. Definitely!👍
Bom demais
He's a great bluesman. Natural bluesman.
He plays with space and soul like the greats
I always wondered who the guitarist with the Side Show Bob hairdo was in Lenny Kravitz's band.
Graig great guitarist my favorite
🖤🌻
I can't help but cringe every time Norm talks about his 'buddies, and is never listening to the guitar players. 'That's my wife' and Norm still keeps on dribbling only interested in dropping names. I'm pretty sure the guitar playing here was how this bloke was feeling on the inside, he had worse than the blues, he was playing the Norms. He's a much better player than this, A tough vid to watch.
Not to mention he just came over in the middle of him playing and started talking over him ...
Dude is fake and annoying .
Norm is a complete narcissist, worse than a used car salesman.
@@surfallday6583 His job is to move equipment and he apparently does it very well. Get yer point, but there's that.
I get it but the premise is getting to watch some legends as they would behave in a guitar store, it's a great idea and there are already plenty of videos available if you just want to watch them play. I like the way the clips are put together and Norm just happens to be smart enough to dream up this idea and profit off of it, it comes off as unscripted and a little rough around the edges but that's why it's so appealing. Maybe he's a jerk irl or something, I dunno but I like watching this stuff he puts out, I get to see a side of some musicians I wouldn't know otherwise.
Only at Norms Rare 🎸 Guitarists 😎✌️👍
Gosh! at 1:47 the phone rings in harmony with lick's break 🤭
You can definitely hear some BB King in the way he plays the blues. Dude is severely under rated
Wow
What? No reverb on 11??!! Super guitar!!
Nice guitar......
Craig is the 🔥itself
🤘😎
Fucking legend
It Ain't Over Til It's Over solo might be my favorite of all time. Just something about it. Not sure what it is. Just so melodic.
It's the chords behind it and the Hammond specifically.
@@ZakEdwardsOfficial The band always makes the great solos, don't they? I'll give you the chords, but I also think it's bc the single lines are so sing-able
@Realist Soul Ah, nice. Thx. Craig Ross is in the video, so it's confusing, but you are jogging my memory now. I'm pretty sure Lenny played almost everything on Mama Said except horns and guest appearance parts. What a solo!
Hold up, at 5.23 , it's nice to see Mrs Guitarlos, but there in the cabinet, is that a Gibson harp guitar Style U ????! Come on how about that for Wednesday !?
Nice doo!
Norm, go one size up on the

Maybe you got my Gibson Les Paul Artisan that was stolen in 1995 in Phoenix. My SSN is scrolled in the component box.
Craig sounds great. 👍
He so totally rocks!!!! One of the best kick ass guitarists of today! Amazing skills. Honey, the tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center!!!!! Check it out on RUclips. It was Whole Lotta Love and Lenny Kravitz was singing. He is an amazing guitarist.
Craig " I wish I was anywhere but here......Now where's Lenny?"
I liked watching his father paint...lol
So freakin good bro, but that dude is really with Lenny Kravitz? I thought that he played drums in Grand Funk Railroad! LMAO!
The caption needs to be corrected. Goya is Craig's wife, not his girlfriend.
When being underrated means that you purposely choose NOT to be a mainstream personality, then underrated sounds great to me. We all need to stop using this word to appreciate good musicians. This guy is obviously a great guitarist, family guy, a very fine gentleman and a key part of the RNR history. Underrate my a**, he is a very smart person IMHO. The one thing that'd be underrated here is his hairdresser.
Craig!! The best guitar of the world yeahhh!!
👍
He reminds me of Ben Stiller from Tenacious D
