I want a job in that Gibson factory as chief executive guitar sniffer.
You can't sniff the glue is that's what you are thinking.
Nothing like the smell of freshly applied nitro to a Les Paul. I will be your assistant.
My son would be in his element ! He's just started a diploma in Music over here in the U.K and he's Autistic but music is his talent, self taught too before he went to college, keep up the good work and well done !
Beautiful gesture by the Gibson team. Congratulations, Marty. Look after this new baby of yours and enjoy!
Dude I almost teard up when he gave you the guitar. That’s my dream guitar too!
I have been playing for 30 years and I have learned so much following your channel this year. I can’t believe how much my playing has evolved. Thanks..........
I would not be at the level of playing I’m at without you. You definitely deserve it
my dream guitar is a gibson sg. like the one angus young plays
I've been lucky enough to own a 1977 Gibson E335 guitar, same finish as the one in the video for over 30 years now. I absolutely love that Guitar. I so wish I could add a Les Paul to my collection. So glad you got to experience the making of one. Love your videos.
Anyone else see that interior laminate layer break (2:15 ) when the steam mold clamped down"
employee did lol
@@ISNOTDEAD11 she sure peeped closer!
big oof..
Damn, who knew you could make a living reviewing guitars and gear LOL... This Internet thing is pretty amazing. Couldn't have happened to a nicer dude. Respect.
Awesomeness!!! Thanks, Marty for taking us along with you to experience this magical moment. What an honor at the end of the tour for them to present you with the very Gibson guitar that you walked through the birthing/manufacturing process. Marty, you gave me goosebumps on this one brother! Congrats Sir, you deserve it. Kudos to Gibson Guitar!
This really makes me want a Gibson, tho i cant afford an ES, i may have to just get a Les Paul.
The studios from the 90s and early 2000s are really good if you can find a good one used. That's if you dont mind them missing the binding and not looking as fancy.
0:48 gives me monsters inc factory vibes
My favorite guitar 😍
Honestly one of the coolest guitar vids I’ve ever seen. So cool to go through the whole process and see how its made from start to finish and so cool to see them gift it to you at the end! And that guitar is SWEEEEEEET
I wonder if the final playability tester ever just jams out?
these people are doing gods work.
Imagine having your boss just talking behind your back just explaining your job hoping your doing it properly
Fr😂
Jim gave me and my father and law the same tour. Great guy! People don't realize all of the craftsmanship put into the guitars.
Am I the only one who think the spray paint lady should be wearing a mask 💀
I thought so too but then I noticed that the wall was sucking in the vapors and general overspray.
Yeah she's in trouble in later life
Yeah that does not make any sense. Funny how the "manager guy", could smell the paint fumes on a distance. Then freaking try to work in those fumes everyday. If you can smell it, you in intaking it in the body. Buy her a freaking nice oxygen provided fullface mask and a suit to cover the skin.
No you are not the only one. And also wood dust and glue...
Yes..that should have been a part of the safety measures...
