@@nickcopeland6915 Fun Fact, when Spielberg heard Herge (the creator of Tintin) was interested in collaborating for a Tintin Movie, Spielberg had to look up what Tintin is. This inspired him to start the Indiana Jones prequel in China where he confronts a villain named Lao Che, who resembled Mitsuhirato, the villain from Tintin's the Blue Lotus; while Indy is friends with a child named Shortround that is meant to be an expy of Chang, Tintin's friend from that same story.

23:14 You and me both Frost, Bella making Peach look useful, and the anime character inspired by her, is saying a lot. Also I only read the first book, up to the hospital scene before stopping. Whew, I got off with a graze. As for the actors, my. Good. LORD!!! The writers screwed them all over because of a book that's Dead On Arrival, and left no reader undamaged. UGH!!! Twilight can burn, but Robert Pattinson can move on despite "that series" just being there. 😤 Also, have you seen any SMG4 videos before? If not, look at Who let the chomp out. It's hilarious. X3 Anyways, see ya Starside Frost!

I never said Doug was a saint or even the best reviewer, not by a long shot. I may not be that big an NC fan as I used to be, but that doesn’t mean I hate him. Nobody is perfect, and I’m sure a lot of people have done things they’d regret later, Doug is no exception. But I don’t believe he’s a bad person today, or at least not nearly as bad as he was back then.
Continue to hate him all you want, no need to force said hatred upon me or anyone else.

Later on, Doug had to admit that he got mixed up with what he said about Bella. She actually was totally against the marriage part. She wanted to be part of the Cullen family, but it was more she just wanted to be a vampire, aka an equal. It's true she got a lot more freedom in the relationship once she was immortal. But the whole time, Edward was the one who wanted them to get married. Bella just wanted immortality and...well, here's another gender inversion. The boy wants legal commitment, the girl just wants sex.

This reminds me of that scene from The Lion King 1/2 movie, where Timon and Pumbaa witness the end of Simba and Nala's argument. . .
Timon: "Pumbaa, do you know what this means?"
Pumbaa: "He can't express his feelings, and she has commitment issues?"
I was telling this to my mom two years ago, where Bambi and Faline COULD go through the same thing, but they WOULDN'T because they are two cute of a couple.
Surprisingly, this is handled the opposite way with Bella and Edward: Bella has trouble expressing her feelings (LITERALLY, AS THE ACTRESS *NEVER MAKES A SINGLE EXPRESSION UNTIL PART 2 of BREAKING DAWN), and Edward has literal commitment issues.

    • @strawberrysoulforever8336

@@scotttrail522 My BFF pointed out that the lack of expression was a characteristic of Bella where she's pretty stoic about her emotions. She doesn't express herself in the way everyone expects of her. It's why we think she might be autistic. Well, one reason. There's multiple reasons she seems to have a brain wired differently, especially in the book. Even her clumsiness could be attributed to that.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Lois Lane is *one of THE worst* "Dumbasses in Distress," because she *always* puts herself in dangerous situations where she *thinks* she can get herself out of them, but CAN'T, and has to rely on Superman all the time to get her out. EVERY . . . SINGLE . . . TIME! You think she would've actually learned better by now, and Superman would've pulled a "Puss n' Boots and said to her, "Save yourself," but NO! The WORST is Bella.
I like how you say that both Christian Bale and Ben Affleck separately fit the role of the Batman. They both looked perfect for the role, they were both perfect for the role, they both had great acting, they were both great altogether.
The fact that Robert Pattinson is going to be the new Batman . . . is SOOO cool! I even saw the preview for it, and . . . AUGH! It's just so cool. Even he, like Christain Bale before him, does his own voice for the role. Hopefully, after his debut appearance as Batman, Robert will no longer be remembered as the vampire from . . . *Twilight*.

This is from a comment, from a person's account named strawberrysoul forever:
"Later on, Doug had to admit that he got mixed up with what he said about Bella. She actually was totally against the marriage part. I got an bit of an example that only gets on my nerves a little bit, but I still don't like in comparison to the other characters: Tweety Bird. I know he's cute and can come up a good one liner here and there, but in comparison to the other Looney Tunes characters, he doesn't really hold his all that much. I mean, there have been the occasional short where he fights back against Sylvester, but most of the time, he just sits back, makes a comment, and waits for Granny and/or the occasional bulldog to stop him. You may argue that Roadrunner's the same way, when he knows Wile E Coyote is after him, he does everything he can to get away (even if it's very easy for him). This can make it pretty easy to route for Sylvester, because he's at least more interesting. I know a lot of people argue that the "villains" of Looney Tunes are more sympathetic, but because everyone here is just trying to survive each other, and at the very are able to do it on their own, I find myself routing for the protagonists and the antagonists. With Tweety and Sylvester, it feels Sylvester is the only one carrying the weight and comedy. Heck, Granny is more interesting than Tweety! If anything, we should see HER as the hero! As a person who of course loves the shorts that the guys at Termite Terrace better than the new Looney Tunes projects, but still respects and enjoys a lot of the projects that WB made and will continue to make to follow in their footsteps and keep the Looney Legacy alive (except Baby Looney Tunes, we don't speak of that), one of the things I think those projects actually do better is that they actually do make Tweety a lot more capable and interesting than back in the day. I know I'm going to get a lot of angry comments for saying that the new stuff did something better than the old stuff, but I like to acknowledge when something later in an ongoing franchise improved on something.

Better use of character dynamics, and even made Penny as a partner for her own uncle, leading to some genuine interactions and relationship building. I would prefer Gadget being semi-competent and has his niece as a partner, rather than leaving his niece behind, unaware that she can handle tough missions by herself. Also, for some reason, the reboot included an evil nephew for Dr. Claw to give off the Yin-Yang mirroring between HQ and MAD; Gadget is the Hero, Claw is the Villain; Penny is Gadget's Niece, Talon is Claw's Nephew, Brain is a Dog, and MAD Cat is... well, a Cat (except MAD Cat is now female to mirror Brain's gender for some reason).
