Never considered these but after this video I might start recommending these for low budget builds.

The terminal connecting tab bends when it comes out of the stamping jig, because it's the most flimsy part of the frame. And they just don't take the time to straighten it before they install the terminals. It's not Sundown doing it but maybe they need to have a little chat with their manufacturer. All they need is a pair of felt covered Toothless flat mouth/nose pliers.
I just bought a pair of Alphard audio Apocalypse series Sylvester Pro Audio 6.5" speakers and the terminal connecting plate was crooked just like this sub. But I will confirm it did not affect the performance whatsoever. These Sylvester 6.5 Pro Audio speakers are amazing. You can basically run them Tweeter less because of the super high range they play. And their claim of not distorting at rated power is true. Honestly if you run these at 130 watts each your crazy they are so loud. They're so efficient that they are about twice as loud as my Alpine speakers with only about 70 Watts on each, amazing. The good thing about that as you could run these without an amp and still be loud with them. I apologize for getting off track but I was just still a little excited about my new door speakers.

I love Sundown 8"s and 10"s I'm more into the smaller Subs now days even though I got some bad ass Zv5 15"s I really love the SAv3 8"s and Xv2 and Xv3 8"s and X 10s

I don't have a definite awnser for that. But I'm guessing it has to do with costs.

A 1000 watt rms Amp. The brand don't really matter but I like sundown so go with that if you can. If your on a tight budget look at nvx

I think u do a great job producing and editing these vids. However- if I gotta spend another 10 min watchin somebody fiddle with cardboard boxes im gonna slit my subwoofer. Focus on the product not the stupid box like everyone else is. Stay healthy bro! Peer pressure audio-lol

@@AntonJMiller yes I can get them for the same price. The dd 508 rated at 400watts and the sundown 300watts. I know they are both underrated. What do u think about the 508 having a Xmax of 10mm and the e8 has 14mm.

I hate how sundown pack there stuff my sub was kinda must up when I got it.. so dont tell ppl that they know how to pack no they don't just being honest but there zv6 is a beast...
It's not only the slug alignment. Those ferrite magnets chip Up really easy. You just touch the corner of those magnets and you have damage.It's cosmetic but if you want to keep your subs looking nice, keep your booty pants on.

Stick to the x8 for putting 1k to it
