Wow, you do things that I would never think of! I have tried the resin in the same type of bottles but cannot get it to flow out. I did cover the bottles but I am using High Viscosity UV resin. Would using a lower viscosity resin help it flow better? Thanks Dan!
Hi Deb, yes, 100%, the Resin Rockers Clear Hard is really low viscosity, otherwise, you could try warming your bottle first to lower the viscosity 😁

I wanted to let you know how much I love this idea! I had decided to make resin book covers as a gift for my grandkids to give their moms. By squishing the circle into a flatter "nib," you have made a calligraphy pen. With calligraphy, we always use a downward stroke. You could then cure each "stroke".
This is how I trace patterns on glass (after a primer for adhesitive). Then I fill it in with colored resin for stained glass pieces. They are a definite hit and I have enough requests to keep me busy for a year 🤣 I use bronze, gold or black for the outline. Rock on Daniel, you da resin man! 💞

Okay... you need to work with Let's Resin to create a delivery mechanism/pen that is refillable with UV resin. This idea is epic and you are the Resin King!

Black is my favorite color and I have problem when can not find nor wear it everyday. So seeing it in art work and being use for resin it's GREAT!!!!!! I just crack the code on UV RESIN and black pigment paste last nite make a pendant, thanks to watching Daniel. 💜

Have you experimented with toilet paper in resin, like paper mache? I know you have to be careful adding glue to resin, but if you do a layer of resin and let it cure, then add a layer of paper mache, I feel like you could use it to make a cool tye-dye design, but I haven't had a chance to try it.

What's not to like about those? They look great.
If you are using the heart mold, you could leave out the resin heart and use a 3rd flower - since the shape already shows the theme. However the drawing & writing with resin is really cool.❤

Another fabulous work be great for a memorial project
You could put lotion in that bottle, write something then puddle UV resin on top for a written concave 'engraving' on the back. Or use PVA glue on a patch of tape (sticky side up), let it dry, then fill a mold and press the tape down over the top (back) to produce the same effect. Could be kinda cool, if you like that engraved look! (Presuming the hardened PVA doesn't stick in the resin and/or can be removed cleanly.)

I printed on transparencies and put them in resin, but there's always the risk of the cut outline. This is even better for hand-lettering, freehand or copying a font.

Best idea in ages and that’s saying something! So many possibilities this opens up, and I love the creation of an italic pen nib by squishing the tube. Tiny thing to note: With calligraphy, counter-intuitively, it’s more like drawing than actual writing, the letters with bowls like o and e are drawn in two (or more) separate strokes. So for an e, start with a c, lift the pen and then go clockwise from the top end of the c back to its middle to make a lowercase e. If you cure after the first stroke the bowls will (should!) never fill again!

❤ Hi Daniel, this I know I can do, as I've used fabric paints before on our old house bathroom wall,, and painted the whole wall light blue and drew in small med and large fish swimming differant ways, plus the reeds, with glitter/ crystal and metalic fabric paints,, it took me around 3 to 4 months to complete it all, even adding beach shells around the the edging of the bath nearest to the wall, I had to buy a few more fabric paints to complete it, but it looks so awesome, lying in a bubble bath looking at my fish so my fabric painted aquarium worked out great so the resin hearts with the shapes and writing will look cool on any project. I even think that you could use fabric paint with or on resin pieces once the fabric paint dry first. The heart with the flowers and writing are beautifully done.🎨🖌

That heart is amazing. Something different for you, when you made you abalone shell ring,you used resin all the way. I experimented with Elmer's glue, that worked well, but sometimes the black marker pen I used for the colorant rubbed off. Today I found some very narrow doubjle sided clear glue tape stuff, had to cut it narrower and used that. The shell stuck very well, then just dabbed a little gold dust between some of the shell pieces before I put the uv rein coat on. What a game changer.
