Disclaimer.....
I am fully aware of the risks of working with resin products and aim to give you great tutorials in a safe way. I film in a very ventilated area and keep risks to myself low. I would always recommend you to wear full PPE based on the data sheets for the chemicals you are using 😊😊😊.
Stay safe whilst creating beautiful art 🙏. Хобби
Sorry, no captions processed yet! And I know I Said Sauron wrong! Haha, have seen the film enough times! 😂🤣 Silly me!
The pupil is not an object at the front of the eye, but clear hole to the back of the eye. The back can not be in front of the Iris. You need to make a clear cylinder with black background. When cured, you can pour the Iris around it. Youll be amazed how real it looks. Also any small pieces of thin red thread will work great for the blood. Your Iris' look awesome and the shape is right becuase artificial eyes are half ovals
R.I.P. Sticky 😂 Great Idea, Awesome Results.
Congrats on the upcoming wedding !! Just be ready to roll with the punches, as NOTHING ever goes completely as planned at a wedding!! Just enjoy it for what it is. Your once in a lifetime, ultimate union with another person. The details don't matter in the end :) Great tutorial!
Thanks Sassie, hopefully all will go as planned 😀. Thank you 😊🙏
Congrats on your wedding!!
I work with polymerclay and was thinking exactly how I'd use these eyes. Thank you.
Hugs from 🇨🇦
Lovely eyes tutorial. Enjoyed it.
Love this idea. Clever you.
Pun intended, you have a real eye for finding the happy accidents. Perhaps leave a little room at the back. Fill in with white resin or paint with white UV nail polish to prevent color from drifting under the pupil. Always enjoy watching!
Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials
Thanks Roseann 🥰
Really cool idea 👍
I wish I was able to sponsor, you deserve every penny. But being a pensioner just cannot afford. I love your tutorials.
Thanks Irene 😊 No problem, I appreciate you watching my content just as much 🥰
This looks awesome
So cool!
I just discovered you and I am enjoying your creativity very much... very inspiring. Have a wonderful wedding... just remember to breathe. LOL
Thank, almost our 2nd anniversary now 😊 Have come a long way since this vid 😊😊
Beautiful Daniel 🙏 big congrats on your wedding ❤️🙏
Thank you so much Suzanne 😊. Hope you are good 🥰
Your so clever love the bloodshot eye idea!!
Oooh I just purchased the vibrant box so now I will have the same white you have TEACH!!
Yay! 😊😊😊😊
Congratulations on the wedding! Many happy returns!
🥰 thank you 😊
funny i found this video. i've been playing with making eyes on my own, no tutorials.. and started making pupils with the smaller circles, and now painting the pupils on after curing a small amount of clear resin in the molds. I've tried using gel nail polish and acrylic paint.. works well and you dont have to wait for the pupil resin to cure, nor do you have to deal with cutting shapes.
Then I dust the top with chameleon powder once the next layer of resin with the ink has cured, add a top layer of resin.
Yay this is gonna be a fun vid to watch 😁
Cool eyes and congrats on your upcoming wedding Daniel!
Thanks x2 Tina 🥰🥰
They would look so cool with a white light look put on the pupil. Awesome
❤ nice
Very cool eyes!
Too many “bad eye days” for me! The majority looked liked they would really hurt! I was getting a lot of sympathy pains. Good work Daniel! The final dragon eye was spectacular!
What I think would look good is: make a thin clear cabochon and cure it enough so that you can put the black "pupil" piece on the back of it without having it fall to the bottom and then cure it so that the pupil piece is in the back of the clear cabochon. Then put that in a larger mold and make your eye with the color in it. When you look at an eye the pupil sits inside the eye, not on the front of it 8)
Really cool eyes. Thanks for another awesome video. ❤
Daniel your work is amazing, even the ones you think are not good.
Can't wait to try these!!!
I have a couple of ideas too
If they work out, ill post them to you!
Best wishes on your wedding !I 💑💜❤💜❤
Thanks Diane 😊. Have fun with your ideas 😊😊😊
🎉Congrats on the wedding coming up! I loved this tutorial! Can't wait to play around and try it!😊
Hi Daniel, I am pretty new to the resin scene but from the videos i have watched i didn't know this medium was so versatile, I thought resin was only used to preserve things or like a cheaper version of art glass paper weights. I have only watched two of your items on You tube and i have to say its nice to hear my mother language. I was born in the UK, Portsmouth to be exact. I have lived in Canada now for 32 years which is longer than i lived in the UK now. I emigrated just after i got married with my husband of 32 years. Congratulations on your marriage by the way i heard it mentioned in the beginning of this tutorial. I hope you have a long and happy marriage together. love the cabochons you made with the silicone oil those were some really cool reactions with the disbursement colour with the spore effect. those were super cool. the ones in this video too are also pretty cool as o love dragon eyes. there is a lady in the USA that paints dragon eyes on glass cabochons with nail polish colours they are super cool too. Thanks for teaching new technics its nice to see some more new things in the future. Have a good one.
Thanks Tracy 😊😊😊. I will have to check her videos out, how will I find her? 🥰
Imagine these with glow in the dark powder added!
wow they are great. Wishing you the very best for your wedding day.
Thank you so much Linda 🥰
Good idea using a cab inside a cab.

These are fascinating…thanks for showing us…have a fabulous wedding 💕
Thanks Lisa 🥰🙏
Now that you’ve cut the pieces, you should make molds of those pieces. That way you don’t ever have to cut them again.
Great effects! Thanks for the tutorial!

Thank you Pam 😊. And thank you again for your amazing support ❤
Hey Daniel, could you do these techniques with UV resin??
I'm so glad I found your channel, you are a pleasure to watch and listen to.
Hi Julie, I'm not 100% sure, I think it may be possible. I will give it a try at some point 😊. Thank you for watching my vids 😊😀
Best Wishes on your Wedding.
Thank you so much 😊🙏
I'm going try this with grow in the dark pigments.
Great idea 😊😊
Have a wonderful wedding!
Thank you 😊🥰
Good stuff Dan. You could try teasing apart some red wool and use the fibres for veins. I've done this for Halloween make up before and it looks realistic.
Great idea! Thanks 😊😊😊
😊❤
Amazing tutorial!! Positive vibes for your upcoming wedding!! I wish your links were for US also.
Thanks Julia, are the Let's Resin links not for the US store? I really need to work these links out! 😂
@@daniel..cooper the torch wasn't and I do buy my Let's Resin from Amazon. I just really liked your torch..lol
Such a great idea and also well done !!! And I wish you a really happy wedding-day !!! :-)
Thanks Monique 😊🙏
Eye of Sauron ;-)
😊😊😊😊
❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰
You should try green and yellow with a split pupil and see if it would look like a lizard or snake eye 🦎 🐍 🐉
I think Doll Makers would like the eyes
Good idea! 😊😊😊
Hi Daniel mate fantastic video as always. I have another question for you do all the beginner kits from let’s resin U.K. come with molds
Thanks, you will have to check, I think some do.
Thanks for the vid.
I'm very new to resin but would black mica powder painted on there work for the pupils? Or would it mix with the alcohol inks?
👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Brilliant torch Daniel! Where did you buy it? if you don’t mind me asking.?
Can we make or own cast and craft?
.
.
Exciting days head! My very best wishes for your up and coming wedding! Enjoy!🥰
Thanks Sue, the link is in the video description 😊😊😊
When l would put a piece of something in to my mold like that l would put a little bit of resin in it and put my piece in till the resin got hard then l would fill the rest with resin and put the inks in
Sounds good, I'm still learning but this worked OK for me 🥰🥰
I wonder if you can use the premade googly eyes and set it with uv resin before continuing with the process . This would allow the pupils to move? They come in many sizes .
I have some to try 😊😊😊
Hello thank you for sharing, i cant seam to find is your white just poured straight from the bottle to a smaller bottle or is it mixed with something to make it thinner ??? Will this work with any alcohol inks & just use this white???
Just as it is, the Let's Resin c deeper sinker white 😊
These are amazing going to try this technique again soon! I have one quick question do you thin the white out with water or use as is? Mine is really thick? Congrats on the wedding too! Hope its a blessed day!
Thanks 🥰. No, water really doesn't mix well with resin. This is just how their inks come. If you are using Piñata white or another thick brand, you can thin it down 50/50 with 99.9% Isopropanol, test a small amount 1st and see how it goes 😊.
If you take isopropyl alcohol like 91% alcohol take a drop at a time added to the white alcohol ink and it will help to thin it down hopefully that helps you out I've done it before and it works to thin mine out so good luck
@@daniel..cooper thank you!
@@dawnie1774 thank you and yes I have done that and I’m slowly learning this technique lol I’m getting it though!
I've poked myself so many times using a small blade. Now I have gone almost completely to using a rotary tool for those kind of things. I can be a clutz. Man I'm just tired to cut my fingers.
Ouch! Yep, I have a rotary tool now 😊😊
What if you filled it a little less and allowed it to set up. Then you fill the opening and color it with the white. It would be like a real eye where you can see through the top layer.
Good thinking, I'm still new so.learning as I go 🥰
Make molds in that shape, that way you don’t have to keep in harms way. Lol
Good idea 😀
Much easier way just so you know nail polish on glass bubbles you can buy all at dollar store...lol
Thanks for the tip 👍
Is the colour supposed to spread all the time? my resin is the same as yours and doesnt spread... and sometimes go to the sides of the mold and the middle stays crystal clear....
Hi, inks can all behave very differently.
@@daniel..cooper hey! i wrote it wrong! I wanted to say that the inks and sinker are the same as yours
Also, don’t know why… one of my jobs, the “dream” word, the white went all to the front, and the colours almost disappeared… why does that happen?
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Remember that if you have a girl first, the next one has a 50/50 chance of being a boy.
No kids thanks! 😂😂😂😂. But thank you 🥰
