Gran Turismo 6: Improved Standard Cars (Remade)

- This is a remake of my old GT6 standard car videos I uploaded back in 2014. With some time passing and me getting more equipment for capturing videos, I thought it was a good time to re-do those videos. I compiled every single standard car I could think of that was improved over their GT5 counterparts. The improvements can range from being minor (I.E. just panel gaps) to being a complete mode revision (looking like a premium missing an interior).
Looking back, I thought PD did a good job with some of these model revisions. However, I think they would have better used their resources if they focused on their better standards and turned them into premium cars. There were also some odd choices on what cars to revise. For instance, they did a slight revision of the standard Alpine A110 despite the fact they had a premium one made. The 310 would have been a smarter option. For the Nissan 180SX, they choose to revise the US region version over the JDM model. For Mitsubishi, they picked the Colt to revise rather than some of the more interesting models like the Galant VR-4 or Lancer Evolution V GSR.

Now, this is the longest video I uploaded. At least until I'm silly enough to compile something else. Note, try keeping your volume on medium or low. I think I might have had the music volume too loud for some tracks.
A few more notes:
- The standard DB9 has the same visual upgrade options as the premium DB9.
- The Peugeot 106 and Mitsubishi FTOs have the option of getting non-painted carbon fiber hoods. However, I didn't included the 106 for the visuals not getting updated.
- The standard MX-5s have their own visual part options in GT Auto such as a front splitter and a custom rear spoiler. The rear spoiler kinda resembles the spoiler found on the hidden MX-5s in Gran Turismo 3.
- If you decide to buy a Zonda, I recommend just getting the 7.3 as it has the best sound note out of all of them in this game. Other people on forums I talk on have said a similar opinion. It's also the fastest version, though it's expensive at 1 million credits.
- I personally find it odd that the other R32 and R34 Skyline GT-Rs were left alone considering that PD copy/pasted the premium Miata models to fill out the standards. I figured it could just be as easy to do that with the premium Skyline GT-Rs. Oh well.

This Freaking Gran Turismo 4 Home Music just brings a tear to your eye
The FTO's and Ralle's can be given a carbon hood, which I find interesting.
I know, I have my very own blue FTO GP Version R with a carbon fiber hood on it. :D
To note about the 106 Rallye, I thought about putting it in this video, but it technically didn't get a model update. Aside from the carbon fiber hood, it still looks like it did in GT5.

I can't do that right now, I don't have GT5 installed on my PS3 and I don't have enough space to install it now (I'm still using an old, fat PS3 with only an 80GB HD.

Mikhail K on the GTPlanet forums has done multiple comparisons between the GT5 and GT6 standard cars.

Even in gt4 they looked horrible! The space between the 2 backlights is only texture,looks uggly.
Looks like polyphony has purposely destroyed that car since gt2

2:36 thats weird, i never noticed the scrolling text there mentions the Challenger for some reason
I never noticed that before either, good catch. Probably another one of PD's little car errors, they've been making similar mistakes like that since the first 2 GT games.
A Mercedes-Benz cl600 has a different license plate
