Hmm. now I see why Jesse Ventura was trying so desperately to unionize wrestling. For $40,000 on the year as an independent contractor is absolutely nothing. You might as well do a minimum wage job and it would be less taxing on your body.
I think that was the message being sent. Instead CW went to some other indie mudshow place that paid him 50 bucks a night and became a wrestling legend.

And that's why there isn't a union today.
Eh. There's been multiple chances but it will realistically never happen. No point blaming any one person. It's a dog eat dog business and management will always divide and conquer for their own benefit.

I thought this was going to be CW Anderson's thoughts on the current Vince scandal and degrading things he had to do to get Vince off. The internet got me again.
I've been saying that Vince fucked up pro-wrestling in the 1980s, I couldn't get past the Megapowers BS, no way Randy would team with Hogan if it weren't scripted, they're total opposites, Savage had all the talent, Hogan had nothing but his size and build, a 1 trick pony, Randy couldn't stand Hogan.
That's when I stopped watching wrestling first time, than 👀 watched nwo/! Attitude era. Now it's junk

thats crazy he kept changing him heel to face during the match like that fucking with him, i believe those johnny ace stories, I would also like to hear DiBiase respond to what CW said because thats even more interesting now that he has the podcast an all.
CW was a very solid wrestler. But didn't have the right look for Vince McMahon and his obsession with body builder physiques. I doubt they ever really had any plans for him. Unfortunate.

@@mikefeltner4216 Dude, he was the last joke ECW ever told after everybody left and the company went bankrupt. He looked like Arn and Ole so Paul made him an "Anderson". I think his entrance music was Papa Roach, "Last Resort" which was the coolest thing about him (second to looking vaguely like an Anderson).
