From what I’ve seen, She-Hulk has proved to be a much better overall fighter than I was expecting. I really thought that being a move 2 mele solo fighter with low boost values and a poor fatigue game she would have a ton of matchups that she just couldn’t win, but in practice that really hasn’t been the case. As for Strange, I have no idea. I haven’t met anyone who can piolet him well enough to get a accurate prediction of where he falls on the tier list. This was a great match, though, fun to see the new fighters in action.
She has a very good fatigue game due to recursion and discards. Between omega threat level and lady justice, she can pile up discards easily. And thanks to her ability, ranged fighter, who are generally squishy, have to maneuver out of her zone.
Just did Rexy vs Shulkie. Win for the Rex. They both got cought once without any defense cards and She Hulk did her 9 damage attack, but the Rex just took it. It was a good fight. Definatly wanna try Houdini and the Genie vs Strange and Spiderman vs Kraven err I mean Muldoon.
It was our first game with the set, so we were still figuring things out. Also, Strange can maintain card advantage pretty easily, so perhaps he wanted to keep cards in hand
@@RecursionCafe Only played a few games and I find the oportunities don't come up as often as one would like. As it's basically the first thing you have to do means you can't get She-hulk in a good postion if she's adjacent but the opponent is in another zone, or the opponent has moved to another zone during their turn. And even of you can hit them with something it is often not worth it to deal only 1 damage (giving away bluffing potential) or it's a real good card you actually wnat to play. I'd use it late game when the opponent is low on health and they gotta be extra carefull. Might be a good ability against Luke Cage.
@@godofzombi it depends. If the opponent is also a melee fighter, they have to get into range at some point. But I do agree that saving it till later sounds like a good idea

I had similar impressions. I think they’re both very strong, but have reasonably high skill ceilings too

I love a the new set. Can't wait for all the match ups coming up!!!
Aaaaah, now I actually understand the point of Legalese 😂. Great match up, your love of this set really shines through the commentary
I thought I sounded shockingly positive, given my experiences with the set already 😆
@@RecursionCafe agreed, I was somewhat surprised/confused/concerned
These two characters definitely deserve each other lol
Absolutely.
Yeeesssss. I’ve been pretty interested in these two.
T. Rex vs. She-Hulk
Houdini vs. Strange
Spider-man vs.Muldoon
(some suggested battles)

You didnt heal wong with your card : No really, im Doctor 🤦♂️🤦♂️
It says "or", not "and" - I feel like Strange was the higher priority target there.
Can you Dark Pact Wong's card?
Nope. If it happened at some point in the video, it was a misplay
@@RecursionCafe Yes you played that Wong. I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
why he didnt use the ability of She Hulk to often?

@@RecursionCafe ohh go it!
Good Game btw!
Looking forward For Spiderman
Specially because yesterday was spidey day

shouldnt she hulk take 2 damage from the very first combat instead of 1?
I attack with a 3 and a +2 item. She defends with a 1 cancel and a +1 item. My item gets cancelled, hers does not, so it's a 3 into a 2 for 1 damage.
@@RecursionCafe oh, thats true, didnt realise the items. Thanks
