Surprised Dan chose to release that pin in the first life, but that was a cool match. In my experience, though, Electra doesn’t actually really need to come to Wukong at all. She can overdraw pretty freely in the first life, and will almost always win if it comes to exhaustion (provided you’re careful with your actions).
See, I could have played her as the degenerate scumbag she is, but I thought it'd be more fun to be more interactive - unfortunately that wasn't reciprocated 😭😭😭
Could you please explain me one moment. my English in not very good. As I understand when Elektra resurrects she has to shuffle discard pile into the deck. But their decks finished almost simultaneously with Sun. You cut this moment from video. How did it happened? maybe i do understand some effects wrong?
You understood correctly. When Elektra died, she did reshuffle her discard pile and deck, which I edited out so that the ninjas could magically reappear. I think the reason she decked out again at the same time as Wukong is because he has more pass effects. He has double attacks that functionally get the other player to use two cards against his one; he has recursion through 72 transformations which get him cards back. If a clone gets attacked, he can let it through because it does maximum one damage basically. So all in all, he seems decent at exhaustion and Dan played in a way that meant he kept up with Elektra’s “bigger” deck. I hope that helps!
@@RecursionCafe strange. I calculated how many cards every player draw after resurrection. Sun Draw 10 card(and left with 0 cards in deck). Didn't calculated 72 transformations as it does not affect amount of cards in the deck. Electra draw 12 cards and one left in the deck minus 1 she shuffled in the deck. But with shuffling of discard pile there should be 20+ cards.
@@kryvosheinn 72 transformations doesn’t affect cards drawn, but it means he has extra cards in hand to play without having to draw, which is essentially a pass. Regarding Elektra, the key thing with her resurrection is that she keeps her hand. So if she has 7 cards in hand when she died, she shuffles all the other remaining 13 cards to form her deck. This is important as it allows her to keep combo pieces in her hand and strike with precision when she returns. The other player doesn’t shuffle and has to keep going - some fighters are more resilient than others, but most regular fighters struggle to last through both of Elektra’s lives.
@@RecursionCafe 7 and 13? wait she has only 20 card in the deck?) oh, that's explain everything) i thought every fighter has standard 30 cards and it makes me feel confusion ) thanks for the video
@@kryvosheinn yep, she’s a bit different. You’re right that most have 30 - Elektra has 20 and Daredevil has 22. Black Widow has 31 I believe. Thanks for watching!
What a crazy match!!! Loved the commentary.
Keep it up!!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I aim to never to have this experience at all 👍
