Great match, I’m a bit surprised by how aggressively Paul played early on, but I can understand why, as Genie can’t do much to Bigfoot or Jackalope outside of 3 wishes turns. I’m impressed Paul knew to hold his skirmish for the action gain card, I’d have played it right away, but he definitely made the right move.
It’s kind of his thing though. His card values aren’t great so he usually has to try to burn his opponent down in a big turn. Sometimes he can’t help drawing if he has to defend with something like wishing for more wishes or the defence that draws equal to the damage he took
He had useless cards to throw away unfortunately. In hindsight, I win (I think) if I attack with the action gain as second action and I'm freed as third action (instead of the other way round)
Keep up the videos. I believe there is a big mistake in the game. You dont take damage when you have to draw cards and cannot draw them. That happens only during maneuver. You only take the 2 when you have to maneuver and cannot draw cards.
That is incorrect. You take exhaustion damage per card you would have drawn from any source, whether it is manoeuvre, card ability or otherwise. Thanks for watching!
Pretty sure he's been recognised as one of them for a long time. This might have changed a bit modernly as more sets come out. What's your take on the big 3?
Bigfoot is widely acknowledged as top tier on a par with Medusa and Elektra. Sherlock is in a league of his own so strictly speaking it’s a top tier of 1

Paul played really well, and if it that skirmish was played at a different time I'm fairly sure I would've won
Agreed, Paul judged that match up perfectly
It almost feels like this praise is not 100% unbiased ;)
@@emanuelealessandri9794 why ever would you think that😂
Excellent upload! Keep up the great work

Should Genie have not drawn all those cards and tried to exhaust Bigfoot I wonder?

Close match, great execution by both players, that last skirmish was so close, a bit of misjudgement in the timing and Ema would have won
Yeah, the odds were against Ema but he was close to pulling it off
Ema should have made Paul discard two cards before attacking granted he still would have lost but could made a difference
The fact that it's Bigfoot's choice hurts it, if you're not planning to empty his hand. But still a decent idea conceptually

But yeah, in general yes
Worst matchup I've played was genie vs Luke cage
That does sound pretty rough...
