    Ah man that made my day and made me smile ear to ear! I never get tired of watching hydrophobics! And I’m also glad you enjoyed the shampoo too!
    I’ll eventually do a video saying what the official scents are. For the moment, I want people to enjoy the scents and try to figure out what they are. It’s fun to guess and then see how close you were to the actual description hehe.
    I want to say you are doing a great job with your videos in general and I want to encourage you to keep being consistent. Your channel will continue to grow as you are a positive addition to the detailing community.
    Who knows, maybe we’ll do a collab together one day!! 👍🏻

      Why would anyone want to do a collab with someone who puts his own products in a 'best of' test above everyone else's? I've watched many of your videos from pretty much the first year of your channel. You've done well. And I'm not hating on that at all. Not one bit. But over the last couple of years or so, your humility seems to have taken a back seat to be replaced with someone I don't recognise anymore. I've seen this with many other channels on RUclips that have had a reasonable amount of success. I hope your success continues. Just a shame it seems to have gone to your heid like many others.

      @@TheHitmann069why would anyone release a product and claim its just 4th best? Granted it may have been too soon to put on a ranking list, but you have to understand he designed the products to his liking. It is #1 to him. At the end of the day it is his opinion, and not objective fact. People will have different preferences. I recommend at least trying his product to see how it compares.

My fav thing about ceramic coating is that hand wash. It’s so smooth it feels like I just polished the paint. Mine is Adam’s Polishes Graphene, got all my cars Graphene’d up.

    Pan's coating on glass looks like it sheets water a tad quicker. As soon as the water hits the glass from the pressure nozzle, with ADS, the water pools for a fraction of second. With Pan's coating, it looks like it bounces off the glass. I might just give this stuff a try

    • @FineDetailingAZ
      @FineDetailingAZ  29 дней назад +1

      @@Join0rDIE1776 I’ll certainly show updates along the way. If an 8 year coating doesn’t last that long then he’ll have some bigger problems. I haven’t seen maybe coatings fail that dramatically outside of cerakote. I can’t speak for his claims but ceramic coatings are meant to make cleaning and maintaining your vehicle easier and offer some mild protection. A lot of people care about the hydrophobic performance of ceramic coatings so I wanted to show the audience.

      To be fair, Hero and Idrosave attract flying insects, too. I don't mean when driving at 150mph 😉. I wouldn't say there are tons of insects but certainly green flies, hover flies, slower flying bugs and belive it or not a pond skater!! I think the majority of cases are because it looks like water, the gloss and slickness problems play a part, as for the green fly and slower flying insects is probably down to the short term protection layer it temporarily leaves behind. Rinseless washes definitely attract flying insects, but not an amount to be remotely concerned about.

You don't need to top with any protection products before curing. All of that said I can get the car out faster because it doesn't have to sit in the shop for 12-24 hours to cure. @@davidceremuga9624 most coatings can you just need to work in small sections, out of the sun and hopefully it’s not windy. So you may need to do one side in the shade then turn your car around and do the other. But you will probably want to let the panel cool first so you have to break it into 2 days. Or if you have a pop up tent that could serve you well to help keep the panels out of the sun. The one hour cure time before getting wet is awesome just in case it rains

    It looks like a decent coating. I have Modesta BC-04 on a 2019 Bullitt that’s been on for 4 years and when I hit it with foam, it actually looks very different from what you’re seeing here. Your foam is actually sticking a lot more than what I’ve experienced. Maybe not a fair comparison, but just visually there is a big difference in how it looks. On my car the coating actually makes the foam bead up if that makes sense, that’s how strong it is when it’s hit with anything that’s liquid. Will follow to see how Pan’s performs over time.

      Not sure! The website says "Recommended application temperatures: 50-86F (10-30C) with the ideal being near 68F (20C)." I would guess humidity would slow the flash time? I had low humidity and my flash time was quick.

    can you make a short vid right after rain, my ceramic coated car is all in gray dots after rain, I feel like 3 year diy coating sucks because of that. if pans coating is just as good year later Ill get 8 year pans and polish diy one off.

      After two years of putting it on a customer’s car, it looks like I just did it yesterday. Crazy hydrophobic everywhere.
