WORLD'S FIRST TORPEDO FACTORY - Rijeka, Croatia

Here, in Rijeka, Croatia stands the decaying building of the World's first torpedo launch station. It all started here in the 1860s where the first water missiles were manufactured and tested.
It was at this location that over 30 different models were developed over the course of a 100 years. The structure that barely stands today was built in the 1930s and was in use only 30 years prior to the factory's final close in the mid 1960s.
