Last time I was in Rijeka was in 1990 and to this day my favourite city in beautiful Croatia . It has a unique charm and beauty about it. Can't wait to go back. Stay beautiful Rijeka see you soon.✌️🇦🇺🇭🇷
6:15 Hello Rok! For your information, the rock at Kantrida Stadium is a reminder of the quarry where stone was cut to make breakwaters and the city. There are two more such quarries outside the city. One is on Orehovica (at the northern exit from the town) and visible from Trsatska gradina, while the other is on Preluk.
Rok, you forgot to mention two of the most important sights - the Governor's Palace and the Sugar Palace... An apsolute must for any culture tourist or architecture and history buff!
Governor's palace, former sugar, where the museum is now, the end od the large market "Ivan Zajc" theater... Former paper factory. Rijeka has more to show... But the video is great. Thanks for the promotion of our city.

I dont understand why are yugoslav skyscrapers consider ugly or in general yugoslav buildings.I know they are not complex as 19st central european archetecture but they are not ugly.I dont understand classification of communist buildings. What did other capitalist countryes build in second half of 20st thats so drasticly diffrent from communist buildings.Only think I understand is that in russia there is lack of old buildings(because of wars) and to much repetitive archetecture with crumbeling facades.I dont see that problem that much in other so called communist countryes outside soviet union.
