Bench testing VW 1.9 tdi radiator fan!

  • This is a way to bench test a 1.9 tdi fan! Warning wire colors may change in different years! Should always reference the OEM pin-out! Pins 1&2 have 12v+ pin 4 is ground! Pin 3 in this case is tapped 3 times to turn on low, and tapped 3 more times to turn on high!

    Should those big + and - wires be shorted in continuity mode? They have zero ohms resistance between them, and fan is always on, with no contact and key in the car.
