t120sx you missed it ( no offense meant ) because you always thought Freddie is the voice. Now that Brian is singing Nd showing his many talents, we kinda think we missed it when it is ALL there in front of US, incLuding ME
Brian became his real self out of Queen in the fact he could really express himself, both vocally and play his guitar how he wanted to without restrictions.
Brian May sings like a combination of Lou Gramm and Paul Rodgers! This band kicks ass too. How did I miss this???! Great performances, the vocals sound amazing.
This is a glimpse of what might have been if Freddie Mercury never existed. This is a Super Band! Brian on lead guitar/vocals, Cozy Powell (Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath/Drums, Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Black Sabbath)/Bass, Spike Edney (Queen)/Keyboards, Jamie Moses/Guitar. Brian is no Freddie but he brings a style of his own.
@Kate The Poodle The band was originally formed in October 1991 for May's performance at Guitar Legends guitar festival in Seville, Spain while Freddie was still alive. He wanted to promote his new solo album. Yes, they played some Queen songs in a more, "Rock" style, but it was not a "tribute" band. It was more of a "Break out" of his own style that was limited in Queen. The Tribute band came with "Queen + Paul Rodgers and now with Adam Lambert.
Gutted to have also missed this superb band when it toured, excellent gig superb choice of musicians and the backing singers can certainly belt out a tune.
Will the real Brian step forward 🔥🔥🔥Whoah! Great to see Brian bringing the full energy of his song to life. While Queen was great I say it was always bit of a compromise musically especially Hot Space. This hard-driving Rock style seems to be where Brian’s musical heart and passion truly lies. Fantastic version!
WAY TOO AWESOME!!! I saw Brian open for Guns n Roses in Austin, TX in '91. He opened with this great song! The closest we can ever come to seeing him do this! Brian is AWESOME!!!
I have alot of Favorite Guitar Players and Guitar Brands. But my Favorite Guitar Player is Brian May playing his Red Special! No one can Replace Him Nor His Guitar in my Book!
Insanely great lineup 💥💥💥💥💥. Saw them here in Argentina in 1992. Terrific!!! In case you don't know Cozy was one 8f the first (if not the first) to play double bass drums, by the time he was hired by Jeff Beck at once.
Bri just slayed this song! Billboard ranked Brian May The #2 best guitarists of all time, Rolling Stone brought him in at #26, all time guitarists. You tell me which one you think fits...
Fino, creativo, buen arreglador, buen gusto musical, riff y solos estéticamente perfectos sin una nota de más ni una de menos, preciso, además de buena gente, osea, las tiene todas
Brilliant 😀 I was at this gig exactly thirty years ago tonight. I hope he remasters this like he has done with his solo catalogue and give us the complete show remastered and unedited on both CD and DVD (he's done all his solo catalogue now apart from this so he's got no excuse now).
Saw Brian and his band this same year at The Palace in Hollywood, CA. Great Show. Earlier that same day around 2 pm or so, knocked on Brian's front door.. his ex-wife and 2 of his kids answered and said he wasn't home. I wonder if 27 years later he still owns that house?!?!?
@@sterlinggenzer362 ...to challenge him in pinball....why else? You can see the pinball machine right there they the window in what I guess is the family room....its been nearly 30 Yeats ago so don't ask me who was featured on the machine or i could of answered this way: why did I knock on the door? To see if he needed his lawn mowed.; to intrude on his personal family life; to ask him for backstage passes for that nights show; to ask him if he could feed us!! March of Dimes; ok anyone else want to chime in (we could have a little fun with it)
Queen have done 3 good songs and this is probably their best. Their other songs are good to vacuum the house to in drag. You could go down the Pub on a Tuesday and stumble on a much better Band than Queen. The reason that I don't listen to the radio anymore is because radio plays other people's bad taste. The other day I was playing my Spotify when I realised that I liked every song on it. Then I realised it was because somebody with excellent taste programmed the music.....ME.
Just seeing this in 2021, wow what a band, the girls are hot, Cozy Powell makes Roger Taylor sound like an average drummer, and Brian is on top form...
Well as Brian said, in Queen they had their singer, Freddie. Roger Taylor had his solo band (The Cross) before Freddie died. Brian waited to go solovafter Freddie passed, I don't know what would have happened with Brian's solo career if Freddie had not passed away. I love Brian's voice and all of his solo work. He wrote the music score for the movie Furia, which is a French movie from some number of years ago, that is where the song I dream of thee came from, as well as Pinocchio, some good songs from that. Brian has a beautiful voice. And a man of many, many talents.
Tous les amateurs de rock ont compris que Brian May chauffe davantage avec son groupe (super) qu'avec Queen. Il est devenu un vrai rocker, le meilleur.
I saw that tour, what an amazing band Brian May had with Neil Murray on bass and Cozy Powell on drums. What were the names of the two beautiful blond back up singers? They were amazing!
Wow, Brian absolutely SLAYED it on guitar here! He's also hitting great notes at 4:14.
Great backing vocals from the girls..
Yep,,not just looks and smoking hot at that,,but TOTALLY AWESOME VOICES!!!!;YES SIRREEEEE!!!;
Wow, how the hell did I miss this? Brian May has a hell of a voice, and the whole arrangement sounds great with two guitars!
Me too... Check this one out... ruclips.net/video/T3qqRZhWzDI/видео.html
I think we forgot that Queen the band, had 4 singers in it.
t120sx you missed it ( no offense meant ) because you always thought Freddie is the voice. Now that Brian is singing Nd showing his many talents, we kinda think we missed it when it is ALL there in front of US, incLuding ME
Sleeping on the Sidewalk....
Great Rock voice - great composer - great guitarist - great astro physician - a modern da Vinci somehow :-)
I knew he could sing, but not like that. Fantastic!
Look out for the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. Brian sang half of the song. It was amazing.
It's kinda like when you loose one arm, your 2nd arm makes up for the loss.
Yeah he is great way better than Lambert Brian & roger taylor have great voices i wish they had carried on queen sharing vocals etc.
@@philfitnesspt6139 hard to do that, playing instruments for two hours, especially at their age, Adam does fairly well with the group too
Sir Brian May. The world's greatist rock musician. God love him.
Dr. Brian May is incredible!
Brian became his real self out of Queen in the fact he could really express himself, both vocally and play his guitar how he wanted to without restrictions.
Brian is definately the total package. Love listening to the Brian May Band they were so awesome. Anything Brian does is fantastic 👏 🥰👑
What a band he had with Powell and Murray on the rhythm section.
Perhaps the greatest rythm combo ever.
Cozy Powell on drums, just fantastic!
Cozy Powell was one of the greatest drummer's in the world
RIP Cozy You are missed!
To me the best ever

@@masterplots he is absolutely no Freddie- have to agree with you there. He's not even close. Is that Cozy Powell on drums????
@@daffodilyellow2430 It is Cozy on drums. I'm not sure if he played in another band before his car accident.

I can honestly say that Brian May is so good I’d rather listen to a live performance anytime!
Brian is wild in this one man!!!
Fucking hell of a show!
Nice voice from lead singer BRIAN MAY
1993!
Those back up singers are probably grandmother's by now!
2 guitars plus Sir Cozy and Sir Neil 🔥🔥 what a back line. They are on it and the double bass drum is savagely good 😁

Great backing vocals too
Hot rock babes
Dr. Bri, what a voice, what a show!!! ❤🎸🎤❤😍
And Neil Murray on bass - this is just awesome!
I was at this gig. Still blows my mind
What a band ! Amazing !
The backing vocals are great, rhythm section too and Brian at his best !
I want to tie down the two lovelies on backing vocals! :)
Brian May's version has originality.
Is better than the Queen either!!!
After all, he did write it.
Brian May is perfect! Amazing voice, stellar guitarist, charismatic, has an amazing stage presence and is also sexy and gorgeous xx
Brian May .............my all time favorite guitar player and Queen ...... my all time favorite group !!!! Well done 🤘🤘
Bri just slayed this song! Billboard ranked Brian May The #2 best guitarists of all time, Rolling Stone brought him in at #26, all time guitarists. You tell me which one you think fits...
Neither fits. He is the best guitarist of all time. Not number 2 and definitely not 26.
Number #2
And Cozy Powell and Neil Murray...
And OMG!!! I saw this lineup when Brian came to Argentina in 1992 (and I met Neil Murray)
Fantastic! Sings great and the best guitar player ever!
I thought Brian did a great job, had no idea he had such a great voice. Thank you.

Cozy Powell on drums omg he is amazing
Brian May.... Brian May..... 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Was at the Bornemouth gig on this tour. One of the best I have ever been to. Think I regained the full powers of hearing again about four days later.
I believe Brian should run for the office of PM of Great Britain. He would win hands down. AND he is pretty smart. Certainly much more so than Boris.
That red special..... A guitar that Brian May and his Dad crafted out of an old fire place!
Absolutely amazing and fun!
Rock out Bri. Well done.
One of my favorite QUEEN songs and I love hearing Brian cutting loose on it here too.
To me this is the perfect rock song

Cozy! Kick the SH!T out of those drums
Brian was a guitar genius...When he wasn’t an animal he could sing with the best....including Pavarotti
Better than Pavarotti! Pavarotti was slick, but Brian sang Too much Love will kill you from his soul
Really amazing!!
Craziest song i ve ever heard.... i love it ❤❤❤
Brian May Band 🙌🙌🙌
best performance of the song ever made, i love ittt
Great song, especially live. It's even better to open a show with it, plus the pyro.
Thor : "Nothing can beat me god of thunder & lightning and my hammer Mjölnir !"
Cozy (picks up a drumstick) : "ah ah ah ! Let's see !"
The best rock song, amazing 👏

Terrible Cozzy!!! Bri a hard rocker, love this!
Brilliant!!
Cozy Powell:- Legend😁😁😁😁
I love this song
And to think I used to think his live vocals were weak, they should have let him sing more during their prime.
Sean Chavarria he can sing but he can not do it ---play lead guitar, run around like a frontman, sing hard..TOO TIRESOME, after ALL he wrote the song
