I love how this show is so big they had to re-block it to make it work on Rosie's stage. Love how Brian D'Arcy and the sailors enter through the aisle.
@@tracieb4085 awesome! I was lucky and grateful to see the original cast at the Lunt-Fontanne currently home to the Sweeney Todd revival. So cool how they have so many quality productions in the UK!
maury yeston has to be the most under appreciated composer ever. his music moves you no matter what subject matter he tries. ( exception is his Phantom). but listen to NINE, this show, and view "we'll take a glass" from Grand Hotel on you tube. it will amaze you.
[PITMAN] Last call for boarding! This is the very last call for boarding! [ALL] Lift up the ramp, let go the lines Raise up her colours and designs Prepare for casting off And through the port we'll slip Each person standing at the rail Let one great thought prevail One single prayer: God bless this noble ship!
Farewell, farewell Godspeed, Titanic... From your berth glide free! As you plough the deep, In your arms I'll keep. Safely west May you carry me. Sail on, sail on Great ship, Titanic... Cross the open sea Pray the journey's sound Till your port be found Fortune's winds Sing Godspeed to thee... Fotune's winds Sing Godspeed To thee!

[BARRETT] How did they build Titanic? Near a thousand feet in length. Huge beyond past endeavor Strong beyond mortal strength Forty-six thousand tons of steel Eleven stories high She's a great floating palace, floating Quiet as a lullaby Fare-thee-well my darlin' I'll be back before a fortnight has passed... [BRIDE] Fare-thee-well my darlin' I'll be back before a fortnight has passed... [BARRETT & FLEET] Fare-thee-well, my darlin' [BARRETT, FLEET & BRIDE] I'll be back before a fortnight has passed... [BARRETT, spoken] Barrett, stoker off the Baltic - [FLEET, spoken] Fleet, lookout off the Majestic - [BRIDE, spoken] Harold Bride, wireless operator with the Marconi Telegraph Company. [BARRETT, FLEET & BRIDE] There she is! Tow'ring high Broad and grand Ship of dreams! [BARRETT, FLEET, BRIDE, HARTELY, SAILOR, STOKER, & STEVEDORE] Sailing Day! Morning bright Take your flight Ship of dreams!... [ALL CREWMEN] She strains at her lines The smoke from her funnels trailing... Her prow like a knife She'll cut through the waves unfailing... Soon to be Underway Size and speed Unexplored... ...And I'll be aboard That ship of dreams!

How did they build Titanic?
Near a thousand feet in length.
Huge beyond past endeavor
Strong beyond mortal strength
Forty-six thousand tons of steel
Eleven stories high
She's a great floating palace, floating
Quiet as a lullaby

[FLEET, spoken]
Fleet, lookout off the Majestic -
[BRIDE, spoken]
Harold Bride, wireless operator with the Marconi Telegraph Company.
[BARRETT, FLEET & BRIDE]
There she is!
Tow'ring high
Broad and grand
Ship of dreams!
[BARRETT, FLEET, BRIDE, HARTELY, SAILOR, STOKER, & STEVEDORE]
Sailing Day!
Morning bright
Take your flight
Ship of dreams!...
[ALL CREWMEN]
She strains at her lines
The smoke from her funnels trailing...
Her prow like a knife
She'll cut through the waves unfailing...
Soon to be
Underway
Size and speed
Unexplored...
...And I'll be aboard
That ship of dreams!
