I have this tower setup with Gtx 1080 8gb E5 1650 v4 (6 core) 64gb ram 2133 ddr4 (16x4) 825Watt power supply 500gb ssd & 1Tb hdd Its a beast, it can run any game with great frames. No overheating problems.
Nice, I wanted the 1650 V4 but there's a massive difference on price against the V3, yes this workstation is heavily underrated. Did you do any mods like added an exhaust fan or upgraded the CPU cooler?
I have the one with the 1650 v3 (6-core , 12 threads @ 3.5GHz) with the 685W psu... had initially the gtx 970 and was good but recently upgraded to the AMD RX6650 and I get amazing fps. Also consider using the utility process lasso to eliminate any stuttering (i found really useful)
I upgraded to 1650 V3 as it was really cheap with great performance. I found issue with COD that it was only using 2 cores so modified the file to use all 6, gave way better stability. I have since sold the system, however this is a very good system on a budget, very heavy though!
@@AlexHusTech Never had an issue with it. I also modded it by removing the side panel and adding an acrylic cover and lights plus some metal vinyl covering so it is properly gaming rig. Now you can find one with around £120 including SSD and 1TB hard drive. I bought one more yesterday with same specs (for friends and family :) ) and will plug in the GTX 970 which is still very decent.
This machine works great with a cheap 4 channel nvme adapter from ali express and equip it with cheap ssd's (samsung 980, lexar mn620 or something similair). I use this machine still as my daily driver, remember it can boot from nvme!
Yes I saw videos of it. I might do this if I decide to keep it. I upgraded to a 1650 V3, working really well so far, I'm really impressed with the machine!
Do you know any other underrated PC rigs I should look at?

@@s00ldr Nice, where are you buying them from? EBay?
@@AlexHusTech Yes
By the way I found a way to overclock the processor and it hits 4.4GHz which is a significant increase in speed and response in games.
I'm putting a intel arc a750 in mine and pairing it with a xeon 2680 v3 which is perfect for 1440p gaming 👌
Nice, does the Mobo support resizeable bar?
@@AlexHusTech not sure but definitely has above 4g decoding which is basically the same, boots performance and stablizes games for the gpu.
