I built one 4 years ago. Used e5 2687w v4 cpu and gt 1060 6 gb. Nice performance. Now upgrading to 2080 ti gpu for $250.

It works with 2080 ti just fine but gets a little congested. I have a 1070 in there now.

Just ordered my E5-2680 V4 CPU ($15) and a Power supply upgrade from 425w to 685w. Gonna get those in first, then consider what kind of GPU I want to install. Thanks for the video.

Wow, this is exactly the video I need, Thank you! I also have a Dell T5810. Could you please further explaborate on the process of converting from sata drives to the m.2 nvme drives? The part I don't understand is converting the nvme to GPT. Would you have to do this before installing into the computer? A step by step guide for this would be appreciated, because I think you are the only person I have found on the internet to successfully do this mod on this computer.

I can tell you how I do it. I have another pc where I have macariun reflect software installed. I take sata drive from the dell t5810 pc and a new blank nvme ssd with pcie adapter. I installed both of them in the computer where I have macarium install. Then I clone the sata into the nvme drive. Just select shrink or extend the partition to fill up target disk. Then install the nvme on your dell with the adapter just like you install your gpu. Must go to bios make sure it's recognized and put it on top the boot order priority list. That's it. So far this transfer process has worked for me. But it didn't work for older windows installation that was installed long time ago using MBR partition. So, just make the sata drive that you want to clone have a GPT partition.

Solid state storage is a $cam = limited write cycles & not actually faster when handling big files. They fake the specs by caching things 2 get a high number, then they slow down 2 a crawl, relatively speaking. Also they tend 2 die all of a suden without warning more than drives. Seagate is trash, but the pre-seagate buyout Samsungs are nice =) WD is also worse than Samsung, & Hitachi R in between. Depending on the 'bit depth' version of SSD U can hav $hit dying in only a few hundred write cycles = PATHETIC!! ~> ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=explaining+computers+ssd

Make sure power supply is 685watt or above. Add a v4 cpu. Add a newer gpu 2070 or 3070. Make sure it has single 8 pin pcie.
