I think that anyone doing an Aretha cover is crazy since the Queen of Soul is such an impossible artist to cover. No one ever gets it right. HOWEVER, this recording and this lead singer is about as close as I have ever seen anyone get and to be quite frank, THIS BAND IS HOT and THIS LEAD SINGER IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
You gotta know your chops to be able to cover the Queen of Soul I am from Detroit the home of Aretha Franklin and the lead singer was great as were the rest of the band. Bravo to you all.
She is the daughter of Nancy Lee Grahn who plays Alexis on General Hospital. I listen to this multiple times a day. She nails this one! She does a good one of Led Zeppelin too. But this is my favorite.

Singer although attractive , loses tonality on her creshendos, and sounds harder that is necessary. Maybe just pull back a little.
