You should probably watch more sketches than. Try "What's That Name?". The sketches are never really the best part of the show anyway. It's the characters that show up on Update because they don't have to worry about writing a situation around them. They just bring them out and say whatever the funniest thing they can think of is. Props for calling them sketches instead of skits like everyone else does.

He was also Vince Blake in the 'What's That Name' sketches, where the he admits he only hosts shows to create chaos.
This era of SNL really doesn't get enough credit for how funny it regularly was. Lots of great sketches from this cast.
