I'm not sure you can even change the future. It may be that you see it because you're entangled with your future self. Changing the future would create a paradox of sorts I would think. You can't see it for the purpose of changing it, it's simply a by-product of entanglement.

Well if everything we see in space is the past, human capability of seeing, then there is an objective "present" that we can not see. It may not necessarily be a simulation but the predetermined future for our self may have already been determined by variables we can't comprehend.
